Up your game a bit and splurge on Heineken Beer.

it is the only locally produced beer i drank.

in the phils, it was pale pilsen. it may be the only thing they do right.

Beer snobs in Thailand.

How embarrassing for men. :coffee1:

I think you'll find it's the other way around. Try getting most Thais to drink anything other than the big three. They can be very snobbish about drinking only Thai beer and won't try any other style than pale lagers.

You can enjoy other beers without being a snob.

I like the craft styles more than generic Thai beers, especially now they're easier to obtain. But if people enjoy other beers that's fine.

De gustibus non disputandum es.

Tests have shown that self-declared beer lovers are not able to identify their most favourite or most disliked beer in a blinded test of standard pilsener beers.

We used to play a similar game years ago back in my local in the uk.

Glass of Bitter.

Glass of Larger.

Glass of Guinness.

Glass of water.

The expert ha ha, was blindfolded. he was allowed to pick the glass up and immediately take one sip only.

and put the glass down, then he had 5 seconds to say what he had just drank,  out of the 4 choices.

Very, very  few experts got it 100% right.

It was a fun game, for the experts.

What nonsense.

A beer expert who can't tell the difference between water and Guinness is obviously not a beer expert. Or appreciates beer. Or has any taste buds.

Don't take the ones with other colours (strawberry, rasberry)... I buy it in GO Wholesale. Or 7/11 can have it too.

Cheers and if you take a sip because of this here - send me a imaginary cheers if you like the bubbles 🙂

I haven't tried this one yet.  I did try the Snowy Weizen but I was a bit dissappointed. The Snowy IPA is good though.

If I'm having a beer at home I find a couple of cans of Tapper very agreeable. Widely avaialble at 7/11 and 6.5% strength. Doesn't taste 'strong' though, very smooth aftertaste.

These are the best local beers for the price you're paying, IMHO.

Still a bit hard to find but worth looking for.

This isn't bad at all considering the price, at around B60 for a large can.

Makes a very nice change from the Thai lagers.
