For me it seemed like to much work.

Always trying to impress, staying fit, entertaining them, presenting the illusion of wealth (South Florida), trying to be what they wanted you to be and not who you are.  They are brainwashed from their mother, friends and media to expect something that only for a few is reality.

 

Thailand it just seems easier in all aspects. Plus you have someone who truly cares for you, accepts who you are and doesn't try to change and mold you into some illusion of the perfect guy.

In the US they seem to have this way of teaching women to deny every nanogram of their femininity, in an attempt to be more masculine than men. It's a very unappealing quality, it's one that I ran away from and never looked back. Leaving America, and ignoring American women was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

But then, I decided to check it out.

 

Astoundingly, you are just about on target:

 

 

a.  I think it's all that corn. These youngsters are true Children of the Corn. Corn soft-drinks, corn burgers, cornbread, corn up the wazoo until they are too fat to be healthy, or too fat to go on dates.

 

b. Of course this is not healthy.  The diet must change, and it must change from the first weeks of life. Food preferences are developed early in life.  Children were meant to drink water, and NOT sugar water.  So then, what's with all this juice drinking?

 

c. If I were younger, I would not date a woman so fat. I would not want my potential off-spring to learn from a fat woman about eating habits. Fat women should do other things like, maybe, work at the circus.

 

d. This obesity did not begin on my watch in America.  I left in 1979.  America is on the wrong track.  And, it is the women who are leading children in the wrong direction.  This will not change until some catastrophe.  Therefore, best to stay away for the next 50 yeears.

Thank goodness I moved to Asia over 45 years ago.

There are just as many male Karens these days as female.

 

The chinese lady in question is not a female.  She is that rare and hated university grad that tries to be a journalist with the MSM bias that she was taught in university.

Dunno about that. Some of the coolest women I have met / had 'relations' with while on my travels, both in the US and overseas, were American. Western women, in general, have become emboldened because meek, browbeaten men have made them that way through the modern, guilt-ridden system. This will affect some delicate flowers, but women must be controlled lest you foster a monster. The guy (that's the one with the dick) is the boss, end of story. Yes, there are American women who have let themselves go and still expect to land a handsome success object, but they are merely the gender equivalent of the bloated expat in Thailand ‘living the dream’, but who only can get a poor farm girl who still runs rings around him figuratively and literally (and stays slim because the orbit around his fat arse burns calories).

 

Take off your cargo shorts and Transformers t-shirt you bought at some night market and go look in the mirror. Keep the tighty whities on, as better not to scare the neighbors or small birds. Be honest. You’re a “catch”? Women get weak in the knees looking at you, or do they get overtaken by projectile vomiting? By the way, all the added tatts don’t make anyone a babe magnet, nor do the spare tires and beer belly. Buy some decent clothes, hit the gym, develop a personality, and maybe things will change for the better, in Thailand and back home.

 

There are plenty of lovely, smart, sexy, successful, feminine and desirable women back in America, but they want something much better than today’s average American male can provide. In 2008, 8% of American males reached age 30 as virgins; today it’s 33%, and that isn’t because they aren’t trying to get laid. Nobody wants them, so many move to SE Asia where they buy fake affection. Others work a dead end job, retire to where they think their (lack of anything admirable) will be appreciated, buy an older beer bar woman (as only truly desperate young women will give them a go), and then moan about the women back home. Guys expect sexy and slim women to love them for who they are, when who they are is nothing special. Guys have expectations; isn’t it fair women have them, too?

 

Today's American woman is better educated than the average male and likely earns as much or more. Plenty of them are as feminine as anyone with a Y chromosome could want, but she isn't going to be impressed by your MAGA hat or guns or pickup truck or Call of Duty score.

The average first year compensation for MBA's from my alma mater last year was $276,000.  That includes women, even fit and feminine ones. See why the guy who can't even pull in $100K is not particularly attractive? He'd be mooching off of her.

 

I know the owner of a major agogo, and his top women earn over $100K per year. Yes, I  know, all of your girlfriends were cashiers or neurosurgeons, but even in Thailand a pensioner is no longer a catch. Maybe guys don't want a fat woman, but women don't want a fat old guy whose pension is only $50K. Fair is fair.

 

When the males of that ilk (my MBA alma mater) decide to come visit Thailand, it's game over for the fat old expat on a meager pension.

 

Times have changed. Adapt or perish.
