In December Canada said that it already had 8,500 personnel on the border. But that was only put in place in direct anticipation of the tariffs that Trump had been threatening. Had it not been for those threats they would not have been there. Besides the fentanyl czar, labeling cartels terrorists, the $200 million and 24/7 eyes on the border were only done after the Tariff announcement by Trump.

I think Canada should remove all U.S. flags at sporting events and refuse to play the U.S. anthem UNLESS and UNTIL the madman president trump officially reverses his intention to annex Canada. Or if they can't do that, BOO louder and louder. I wouldn't demand an apology because he has never apologized for anything.  Also, Canadians should as much as possible boycott American products for the same reason.

Actually, the amount of fentanyl and other drugs being produced IN Canada and smuggled to the US is at an all time high. In the past couple months there have been huge drug busts in British Columbia, including the largest fentanyl lab ever found in the country. 54 kg of fentanyl, mountains of precursor chemicals, 390kg of meth, 35b kg of coke, 94 firearms... The slack approach to drugs by the Trudeau government is a genuine concern.
