A Thai man fatally shot his wife and mother-in-law today at their shared home in the northern province of Phitsanulok before taking his own life.

Officers from Phrom Phiram Police Station were alerted to the shooting in Ban Wang Masra community in Phitsanulok’s Phrom Phiram district at around 2pm today, February 3. Officers used a drone to investigate the house for officers’ safety.

The gunman was reportedly a man named Jarun. He reportedly shot dead his wife and mother-in-law at the house before committing suicide.

Police used a drone to monitor the house and found three lifeless bodies inside. Details of the motive for the shooting have not yet been released.
