I read it already.

So then stop with the ridiculous defence of them "having issues with the care". It's exactly the same behaviour noted back in the 90's. Shockingly rude and arrogant. Simply because the outrageous manner in which their country exists has emboldened them. That's the truth.

I'm not defending their behavior because you need to respect the culture when you travel but I can believe they had issues with the care.

I would say, it is more likely a rule observation issue, rather than cultural matter.

Wherever they are, (attempt of ) illegal entry into Restricted Area will be penalized.

Even if they did the same in USA(supposedly their closest ally and biggest military & political  backer).

It won't give them any immunity just because they are from Israel.

Neither would I.

Not defending them. Stop lying.

The most hated nationality around the world, here on samui there are signs saying no Israel s allowed on certain premises, for exactly the same reason!
what a general pack of A holes!

And in Thailand.
It wasn’t that long ago that you would see signs in resorts restaurants and even hairdressers in Thailand saying “No Israelis”

Makes you feel for the citzens of the West Bank.

That, after you read the article and knew that it was not just an isolated incident. Who is lying and being disingenuous here? Hint: It's not me.

It certainly wasn't due to anti-Semitism. It has always been a behavioural issue.

Malcolm : Are you going to post that one sign from 25 years ago that said "No Israelis" again ?

Wasn't there 1 sign on Koh Samui and you've been making 1 point ever since ?

Similar things are said about the Russians , Chinese , Indians , British , Kuwaitis and Americans

Yes, but when such claims are made about the Israelis, they are more believable. After all, I've been to Russia and China, hitchhiked across India twice, and also hitched in the U.K. and once across the USA. I also lived and worked in Israel for five months and had both of my Israeli employers there try to screw me out of my hard earned money. That being said, I do not think the Israelis are bad people, I think they are just rude and obnoxious.

But was you working in Russia , China , and India and USA and UK ?

You are hardly likely to try and get "screwed out" of your salary if you weren't even receiving a salary .

I can assure you , employers from every Country can behave similarly

Why is this so hard for you to accept? Do you think everyone is just making it all up to upset you?

To be honest, their behaviour was so horrible in the 90's, that people took pleasure when one of them got blocked at the airport in Malaysia. I think it was discretionary.

Many young Israelis have just spent 3 years in the IDF , where they spend 3 years living a restricted regimented life and often being out in dangerous situations where the locals abuse them and want to kill them .They are also from the Middle East and people are often hot headed .

They them also get quite a lot of abuse from other travellers when they go abroad .

Other travellers would jeer at Israelis , just because they were from Israel .

Its little wonder that they can be rude at times , especially when they are young and just come out of 3 years military service

Do you disagree with me ?

Are you saying that Israelis are the ONLY employees in the world who try and underpay their workers ?

Are you really saying that Jews are the only employers in the World who try and screw employees out of money and no other people in the World do that , whilst at the same time denying being anti semitic?

They are your people in your hearth, do not take everything literally. You always defends them with all of your hearth, even proofs talks against you and them

Did you write that in Norwegian and put it through google translate ?

Or was that subtle reference to the Holocaust ?

This reads like a lot of excuses. As a backpacker, I have not ever seen the kind of behaviour against Israelis that you appear to have fabricated.

Backpackers would welcome everyone, to their tables, to their homes. It was normal. The Israelis would behave differently. They would take everything for themselves. In hotels they would take all of the towels meant for hotel guests and put them in their rooms. They would use the gyms and help themselves to orange juice and fruit from the fridges and when it came to pay, would argue they thought that the food and drink were free and try to renegotiate the entry price of the gym, even though the price was up on the wall.

They changed the whole policy of places like Samui, in which you would be left alone to take whatever you wanted by just entering what you took into a book. Your room, your food, the gyms. Everything was use first and pay later. There were no cameras. Just trust. All that ended because of the Israelis. Now you have to pay first for most everything.

'People jeering them because they were from Israel' didn't cause that behaviour. You just pull out the victim card. But that's old and tired now. Most everyone can see through it.

All of that stopped because of the Israelis.

Your defence of them and the indefensible makes his claim seem accurate. Prove otherwise.

I'm saying that this thread isn't about EMPLOYERS. He mentioned it as an aside, but it doesn't detract from the other realities on the ground and especially this topic.

So are they any Jew haters here? I ask you since you claim that you can recognize them.

I think it's relatively straight forward to recognize them even though they often camouflage their meaning to appease modern sensibilities, eg referring to Zionists when they simply mean most Jews. They know of course that most Jews whether resident or not are profoundly attached to Israel and its security. Jews have diverse views and there has always been a contrarian faction. Some have no religion at all and are only Jews in a cultural sense. That diversity doesn't save them when the Jew haters are on the march as in the Holocaust when millions of men, women and children were massacred.

Actually in recent months after the Hamas murderous activity and the Israeli response, antisemitism has been less concerned at hiding itself as I saw for myself in London recently with demonstrators screaming antisemitic abuse and holding banners with vile racist slogans (which I will not repeat here).

As to your question whether there are Jew haters on this forum, I'm not going to get into that. For anybody with historical, cultural and political insight the answer is very clear.

I don't know who you are talking about. Just some general scribble about some imaginary people.

We are discussing Israelis. If you have some information about Jew haters here, then let's see it.
