he had more drinks added to his bill , because he was in good spirits

pay every time if you think you paid to much the first bill leave straight away

It is very common for bars to charge a markup on lady drinks and it is not considered improper to ask the cost of a lady drink prior to buying one, much less many. That was mistake number one.

 

Once you realize the stupidity of your error you just simply suck it up, as there's no way to win an argument like this. I guess he learned that the stiletto way!

I went to a bar in Patpong years ago and I wasn't drinking alcohol at the time, then the most nasty gay sat down beside me and said '' you buy drink now' ''so I bought a can of beer and left it there, then when I  went to leave I did not have any small money and gave her 1000 baht she wouldn't give the change back, so I pretended to ring the police and said tourist police coming ten minutes and my wife, they gave me the change and said farg off don't come back.

There sadly is this hustle still going on in Thailand

Many Asian have alcohol intolerance, but I had party friends who did drink me ounder the table.

That's irrelevant. You're paying for a service. The girls provide you with company, you pay for it.

 

If you don't like paying for it go to 'normal' bars in the west, and see how many pretty girls are willing to spend the evening chatting and flirting with you at your table.
