The sender, 47-year-old Chai, claimed he was acting for a self-proclaimed black magician named Pol, who admitted to purchasing the bodies for 10,000 baht. Pol allegedly planned to resell them to Chinese tourists for 30,000 baht. Authorities raided Pol’s shop and are now investigating the origins of the corpses and potential human remains trafficking violations. The case has raised concerns over the illegal trade of human remains in Thailand.
