I was almost ecstatic to hear Tump say, and tell the press, just how much Elon hates that Verbal-Fry freak Sammy boy.

 

Sammy must go if this major One-Trillion dollar USA AI push is to move forward....in the best way possible.

And, in that new conference where he appeared with some smart guys, including the Oracle founder....

Sammy had almost zero to say.

He kept his trap shut, knowing that he could not measure up....

It's funny how Trump worshippers rationalize Trump's behavior when he acts in a way that doesn't match their hopes and expectations. The fact is, that Trump's modus operandi has always been to set people who depend on him, whether as subordinates or allies, against each other. So this case is no different. I suspect that one reason that working with Altmank appeals to Trump is that it takes Musk down a peg or 2 and reminds Musk of who's the boss.

Another realization that might be construed from your comments is how much you adore both Trump and Musk and how much emotional investment you have placed in  them and that you want them to be BFFs. Of course, this is only a surmise. But it does make sense given how the actual facts of the case don't jibe with your interpretation of them.
