Do young ladies still have the person-to-person communication skills like they had years ago

Featured Replies

After about 2010 social media and phones with cameras became more and more common. And it seems to me teenagers starting from maybe 12 or even younger adapted quickly to use their phones as their most used of communication.

Do we see now the consequences in the real world?

Now I go fewer times to gogo bars then I used to do years ago. I remember from years ago that many girls on stage tried to communicate with the guys in front of them. A smile here and there. Maybe some more body language etc. And when the girls walked off the stage after dancing to a couple of songs then they looked around the room looking at guys who would signal the girls that they should come over to have a drink. That system worked just fine.

And now? It seems many girls on stage don't look at any guests anymore. Depending on the bar they have their phone strapped to their body. And when it's time to go off stage they immediately look at their phone and what they might have missed in the last 10min. No eye contact with possible punters anymore. And then they sit is some corner together with other girls all looking at their phones.

Is that the new normal? Are there still girls out there who can survive without their phones for an hour or two?

Could they still communicate like in the old times in real life? Or are they not even able to do that anymore, because they only talk/text to each other on their screens?

Obviously, I realize that long time ago I was younger and fitter. But now my wallet is bigger. As far as I see it most bar girls want money and if an old guy buys them 3 drinks and a young guy one, then they would mostly prefer the old guy who spends money.

Is the time of person-to-person communication without any digital device over?
