Why should Americans concede that business to other countries that are less prudish in their FCPA laws?  Which is most of them...

I doubt the law was halted to allow corruption. Corruption is endemic in many countries.

Ok, but then require publicly traded US companies disclose these payments, including names of recipients and amounts, in their 10k filings and annual reports to shareholders.

Americans often pretend they want to be the shining example how the world should be.

Is bribing something the world should learn from the USA. Should we all say the USA is allowing it, then it must be good?

 

And if Trump doesn't like it, then please go to congress and tell them to get rid of that law, officially, and for the world to see.
