Currently, the "approval rate" of European voters supporting "Donalds Universe" is about 15%.  According to polls.

You need to support this with some sources. Whilst you're at it how about adding the current US approval rating.

Currently, Donalds approval rating is around 53 % in the US, while the rest of the "western world" wonders how something like this could have happened.

Wondering how a guy can put "the western alliance" in jeopardy that has benefitted all the members of this alliance since WW2.

In Europe, the Person that is named Donald J.Trump is being considered as a pompous, erratic, overbearing character. If not for his money and fame, he would be spending his time in a psychiatric institution for his own good. General consensus.

Europeans are still puzzeled: What is so terribly wrong with the political/economical system in the US, that has elevated Donald into the highest office that this nation has to offer?

Me, and the overwhelming majority of Europeans would just like to know why the American electorate came to the conclusion, that the time is ripe for a person like Donald. Or, in other words: What is so terribly wrong in the US that made them vote for Donald?

I look foreward to many contributions from US posters. The more, the better. It might help Europeans to better understand what is happening in the US. Europeans (and the rest of the "free world) hunger for an explanation, boiling down to 1 word = WHY?

Frankly, we don't care what you Europeans and the rest of the world think.

IMO after your little bout of electoral insanity, the rest of the world doesn't care much for America either.

This is the system that kept you people from being ruled by either Russians or Germans.

Americans were primarily concerned because 5 or 6 million people came into the country illegally and were given money, living, accommodations, and health care, while nobody even bothered to check what their backgrounds were. Americans don't like that and did something about it. Apparently, Europeans don't care who comes into their countries and lives freely off them.

Hench the rise of more right leaning parties.  The people are tried of this stuff.

Trump has permanently damaged the American brand.

The U.S. empire is in inevitable decline regardless but there are rational ways of managing that and irrational ways that Trump represents.

He has rapidly speeded up the decline dramatically and the pain Americans are going to feel from that will be much worse and happen much sooner as well. Just as there will be a lot of international suffering as well. It's been estimated that cutting off USAID will result in the deaths of at least 10 million people globally. Allies being threatened such as Canada and the EU have been banking on a stable U.S. and will be reeling from the shock that that is totally over.

The same kinds of polls that had Kamala well ahead of Trump. The same polls that said Biden was the bees knees.

Newton is dead and US is a far bigger nation than most. Smaller nations have more to lose by playing tough.

So why is the US dollar not dropping a lot?

China will do what's in the best interest of China.   Trump is doing what's in the best interest of the USA.

maybe based almost entirely on his obnoxious personality.

no one knows what he will do.

since he's in bed with elon, and elon is pushing self-driving cars, i expect self-driving cars to take off in the next few years.

a lof of people don't like the idea of self-driving cars.

but no one knows 99% of what he will do yet.

Funny that you say that.

Who is celebrating the most from Trump's actions?

China and Russia.

Who is freaking out the most from Trump's actions?

The U.S. traditional allies.

How that is "good" for the USA?

Trump has pulled out of the WHO.

Polio is still endemic in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Africa is a witches' cauldron of diseases.

COVID killed 7 million people, over 1 million in the US. It had a quite low death rate compared to Ebola, which is 50% on average.

It's not hyberbolic to point out viruses don't care about borders.
