In a dramatic high-speed chase that went viral on social media, a Laotian man managed to evade police after a chaotic pursuit through Bangkok. The incident unfolded on February 11th when traffic officers noticed a grey pickup truck, license plate 3ฒญ 1134 Bangkok, parked illegally on a crossing. The driver, identified as Zone from Laos, appeared intoxicated.

Instead of complying with police instructions to move his vehicle for a ticket, Zone sped off, initiating a chase that began on Bangkok–Nonthaburi Road. The pursuit intensified as he reached Taopoon intersection, recklessly ramming into civilian cars waiting at a red light.

Despite police attempts to disable the vehicle by shooting out its front tires, Zone continued his dangerous escape. The officers called off the chase near Prachanukul intersection due to the high risk involved, choosing instead to collaborate with other units to locate the suspect.

Police Colonel Srayut Mungruen confirmed that the truck has been seized, but Zone remains on the run. No illegal substances were found in the vehicle, but it is believed Zone feared arrest due to being under the influence of drugs. He has no known criminal record, and the police are actively searching for him, reported The Thaiger.
