And then there is a billionaire who in his spare time decides to make the country more efficient. Just fire everybody, what could possibly go wrong.

It's in the news every day. And I am sure they actually save some money which was wasted.

 

But looking at above, what is better, saving a couple of millions left and right and at the same time firing very important people who keep the USA and the rest of the world save?

Or would it be better to look and think twice who can be and should be fired?

If Musk wants to fire all his own employees, fine, he should do that.

But why should he, without expertise and experience, be allowed to fire people in positions where he has no clue about and which are important for the national and international security?

Elon Musk is creating hundreds, if not thousands of people with a grudge, who may very well become enablers of foreign sabotage,  espionage and even violence. The DOGE team  has removed critical personnel from the US security infrastructure.  

 

This is following the plotline of a James Bond movie, with Spectre gaining control of the US government.
