Health Thailand Urges Action as HIV Cases Exceed 500,000
If this is true a half a million people out of a population of 68 million is a staggering number. There are a lot of medications that make life with HIV a lot easier than it used to be, I wonder if there's any government assistance for something like that. -

USA Can Diddy Reclaim His Throne? A Legacy Tarnished and a Future in Question
The US Government does not arrest people like this unless they have an iron clad case. Even when the news came out on the verdict, it was said that the government has a 99% win rate in these cases. Why did this one fail? I did not follow because I don't have the time or ever care about this. But this reminds me of the OJ Simpson trial. There were a lot of big named money people involved here. The trial was held in NY. The same NY where President Trump could not and did not receive a fair trial. All I am going to say. The Justice system in NY is very corrupt. This is only my opinion here. -

Crime Chinese National Caught Using Lost Mexican Passport at Bangkok Airport
Yeah it seems that people are often very ignorant about the diversity in Mexico. Such as black Mexicans, Jewish Mexicans (now represented by their very popular president), etc. -

Tourism Phuket Sets Sail to Become Southeast Asia's Cruise Capital
No thanks. Was first in a Phuket in 1976. No resorts. A few bungalows on the beaches. Beachfront land was 1,000 baht a rai. They could not give it away. Quite a lovely place. Went back in 1986. Had developed alot. Still very nice. Again in 1993. Far more development. Still amazing. Azure seas. The gorgeous Andaman. Spectacular women everywhere. Great food. Did not return until around 2008. It was degraded, for the most part. But, still decent. Good nightlife. But not as good. Again around 2014. Nowhere near the place it used to be, with a diminished nightlife, but not awful. Prices had gone up quite a bit but I guess that's to be expected. Back again in 2023 and there was absolutely no charm left, very few attractive gals and Bangla Road was absolutely horrific, with barely a good looking girl to be found with the exception of just a couple of Go-Go's, charging truly stupid money. The primary population of tourists were Arabs, Malaysians, Indians and Russians, and most of them felt like low end tourists and expats. The proliferation of Russians was too much to bear. They are SO obnoxious. No need to ever return. The charm is lost. Traffic was crazy. The over development is stunning. The prices were crazy. Yikes.
