IMO most of the Trump haters on here don't understand him, so they try to make him fit their preconceived ideas, which is impossible. Trump doesn't fit in any category known to western people.

We disagree on Putin, but He has what he set out to have, it was just prolonged but us & uk, this was pushed by Bidens admin and noto and has gone nowhere but just ended up with many dead.

If some here listened to what Putin said, rather than shutting the Russian side of the conversation off,  it might not come as such a shock to them now.

He set out to have all of Ukraine, he set out to have a quick and dirty war that cost him nothing and gained him much, he set out to burnish his reputation.  Settling for what he already had... hardly seems like a victory.

 

And "If we had only listened to the bad guy and given in to his demands, bad things wouldn't have happened" is a curious approach to life, history, foreign policy, etc.

Well not listening to, or trying to shut the other side down hasnt gone well for you all so far has it.

King Putin never wanted all of Ukraine., he got the 20% with most of the mineral deposits though, just a coincidence it was where his ethic Russia were being attacked. So bonus really, save his people and keep the minerals.

But at least Trump had brought the minerals into the open and is bringing about the war, as he stated he would. Shame all those people died for Bidens corrupted admin and donors.

There's a reason RT is banned in many western locales, and links to same on certain forums.

 

Compare transcriptions of speeches there to what you find in your local media.  More often than not, you'll find a "journalist's" paraphrased and quote-mined version of what was said massaged to fit the preferred narrative.
