I think this was their original advertisement way back when. Six years ago. Number might still be in use.

Or it might be a completely different company. The name is certainly different now.

pattaya_u-tapao_taxi.jpg

The distance Pattaya - Suvarnabumi is 120 km.

The distance Pattaya - Utapao is 45 km.

It should be obvious to anyone these are taxi fees, not car hire.

Not as much as you need manners.

And what are the conditions if they see a scratch when you return it? Or the engine has a problem?

If the damage was there, and agreed, when taking the rental nothing happens.

If a rental car engine has a problem, the owner has the responsibility, not the renter.

ok,  go an get a 250 baht car  ....  what could possibly go wrong    !

If something goes wrong with the car the owner collects it from the renter and probably provides a replacement...no big deal.

If you had read the whole post you might have noted that I suggested that it might have been the same company that also rented the cars. Do you think that I didn't notice the difference between an airport taxi and car rental?

In the event, I'm not sure that it was the same company anyway,

This IMO is a set up either by two people in cahoots or by one person pretending to be two, the OP and this one, to get free advertising.

Watch this space for the follow up subliminal advertising.

Except for the long walk and missed flight.

How would you miss a flight? I don't think that you would be allowed to just leave the car at any airport.

Is this how you think in your real life?

Two people have suggested 350 and the 'OP' thinks 250. Their cahoots are not very efficient.

Is that your experience from companies in Thailand?

You can't really record every single scratch before you rent. It is well known that Pattaya (motorcycle) rent establishments often "find" scratches and then the customer should pay.

And with the engine it's similar. What you write will likely apply to well-known international rental companies, but I am not so sure if everybody works like that.

Often rental companies keep the passport of the renter. If they demand money and you need that passport urgently, i.e. to fly somewhere, then you have a problem. That is well-known.

I haven't had any experience like that in Pattaya, with a motorcycle nor car.

Why have so many people come to this thread who have no real information at all, but really only to provide misinformation and to argue? It's horrible.

Look at the posts in this thread. Mainly Trolls and people posting confused and negative emotions and being argumentative, without knowing anything at all.

That is the experience given to someone who asks a simple question on this forum.

Could you send me the details by PM please, I'll be in need of a car for a couple of weeks when I return to Pattaya in April. B250 a day is cheaper than Bolt for my golf trips.
