How does Musk Keep Making Big Mistakes and getting away with it?

Musk Makes Big Mistake While Trying to Smear CNN Legal Analyst Norm Eisen

Elon Musk falsely accused prominent lawyer and CNN legal analyst Norm Eisen of leading a “crime family” after he discovered a woman with the same last name who worked for an organization that accepted funds from the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

On X, Musk amplified a post which falsely stated that Tamar, an employee of the nonprofit National Democratic Institute, was the CNN personality’s daughter.

The only problem?

The woman, Tamar Eisen, is of no relation to Norm Eisen.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha.

Another Amateur hour Bonehead mistake.

How does Musk keep getting away with it?

1) Blast out propaganda on X for millions of people, some of which presumably will believe it with no proof whatsoever.

2) When his bull excrement is discovered to be laughably false and he gets asked about it, just say some passive-aggressive thing like "mistakes were made"

3) Then double down and say it's been corrected when it's not.

4) Never admit on X he was wrong

5) Never apologize to Norm Eisen for calling him a "crime family"

6) Never be humble unless you're sucking up to Trump with a "Tech Support" t-shirt on

He's got a process for lying.

1,2,3,4,5,6.

Over and over again.

And so far, he's getting away with it.

Good job, Elon.

You've been learning from the Master.

Donnie is definitely the World's Greatest Conman of All Time.👍

Having enough money to buy anyone's employer, just to sack them, probably helps.

How is it that there are so many dumb people living in Thailand and they are seemingly immune to consequences although they dont have 300 billion dollars?

I think you might need to revise that 300 billion downwards a tad. Some estimates suggest a reduction of 148 billion in net worth.

I am using a starlink to post this. Musk will be the biggest internet provider in the world some day.

It's not only SpaceX and Starlink. Tesla itself is now more valuable in the AI/Robotics field than as a car maker, which is what many people think is the major value.  The Optimus robots are coming soon, as are the Robo Taxis and the related software, which will be leased to companies like Uber.

Musk is the king of the world. You know his critics when you see them, they are all poor and angry

That might do well enough within the tariffed US but for the rest of the world market the Chinese are well ahead already.

The reason Elon gets away with doing dumb thinks is he makes moves that are smarter. Tesla is a distraction, this guy has more info from space through satellites, rockets and god knows what payloads than anybody in history including all governments.

He has enough to feed AI data for machine learning through all of this. Other AI is paying reddit to scrape its data for example. Musk knows for the past decade where every liberal Tesla drivier has been or done.

He also leverages X to scrape data.

I dont even read any criticism. Without Musk, the west would be done. Finished

It wasn't meant as criticism it was to help educate people that don't really understand what Musk does. I doubt he gives one single crap about Tesla his ambitions are in space. For that to happen you need to be deeply connected and he is. He isn't trying to run a battery powered car company. He hasn't been seen in a tesla factory or office for nearly 2 months or so.

The general world-wide revulsion against Musk and Trump is growing. Have you looked at how Tesla sales have fallen off a cliff?

Musk gets a lot of his money from the US taxpayer, more fool them.

There are plenty of non-Americans saying if it has a label "Made in the USA", they are not buying it. Better get used to it.

For the best. Wisdom rings true that the majority of people cannot think for themselves

Musk has more than 10,000 satellites in orbit. Tesla doesn't matter but it is a piece in the puzzle for data collection like X is.  He has access to such high security info and thats why he is the most valuable man in the world.

I could live on half of that.

Musk is getting a treasury of free data, courtesy of DOGE.

Perhaps you have heard the Greek saying, Hubris is always followed by Nemesis.

Thank heavens I am not American.

The same people hating on Musk for confusing names are the ones who call the Afghan debacle a victory, or a 6'4" bulked up well endowed rapist in a wig a woman.

Or say her name: Lincoln Riley

Supposedly, the New Model Y has more orders than they can fill over in China.

As for money from the taxpayer?  They can cut out the tariffs. It won't bother Musk.  He can make cars cheaper than the competition.  He doesn't need tariffs.

As for people around the world?  No one cares, really.  Let them make their own stuff if they think they can.

In the long run, we're all dead.  In the meantime, if I can double or triple or quadruple my Tesla investment in a year, I'm a happy camper.  I see Cathie Wood jumped in early the past few days.  PLTR also, I see.  That was a home run for me the last few years. Bought tons in the $6 to $10 range.  I knew it was a winner, but I wasn't expecting so much so soon.  Anyway, it's working out well.

Angkor Market in Siem has been putting American flags near American products for years, must be to warn people away.

A Tesla Model 3 in Thailand has an RRP of 1, 769,000 baht. That is the cheapest model on offer.

BYD sells a range of EV's, RRP base model 700,000 baht, top of the line AWD is 1, 600,000 baht, still cheaper than the RWD Tesla Model 3.

Teslas also have acquired a reputation for inconsistent build quality.

Musk doesn't need tariffs? He needs them like I need my partial denture.

As for cheaper, try doing some research.

You will care soon enough when we tell you to close down your spy bases in Australia, and stick your submarine deal where the sun does not shine.

America has a positive trade balance with Australia. The stuff we buy from you, we can easily buy elsewhere.

There was a time America dominated the automotive market in Australia. Now, your sales are embarrassing. Rightly so, because your cars are crap.

Enjoy your SwastikaLink riding around in your Tesler Swatiskar.

What a dreamy hero, the Musk~Rat be! 😛

Fascism glorifies rigid hero stereotypes to enforce loyalty, obedience, and nationalism, portraying an idealized, strong leader or warrior as a model for unity, discipline, and the suppression of individuality.

I think you miss the point entirely, but that's OK.  The general idea is to make money on Tesla Stock.  Tesla the company, which could stop all car production and still, the stock would be worth many times more than it is today.  The FSD technology can be leased out to companies around the world, including Uber.  Robotaxis are coming as soon as this year.  And the Optimus robots will be taking over human jobs sooner than anyone seems to realize.  Fortunately for anyone buying the stock today, many on Wall Street seem to think Tesla is a car company, and that's why their customers will miss out.  You seem to think that, as well.  Nothing could be further from the truth.

I don't place much store on your predictions being the truth, or accurate.

You seem to forget there are going to be all kinds of regulatory impediments to mixing self-driving cars with people who are driving their own vehicles.

You think Tesla rules the world in terms of AI? DeepSeek has already destroyed that myth.

Tesla stock is like DJT stock, there's a ridiculous amount of blue sky in it.

How do you think Tesla shareholders are reacting to Chinese carmakers eating their lunch? Already they have taken over market share in Europe.

I am posting facts. You are posting what you hope will happen.
