26 Year Old Woman Dies And 24 Year Old Woman In Serious Condition In Two Suicide Cases

It is a sad fact of life here in Pattaya that cases of individuals attempting to take their own lives is on the increase. We now report on two cases, one of which claimed the life of a 26 year old woman.

We begin at the 75 Mansion in Soi Nok-kow in Central Pattaya where Mr. Danny Ryan aged 38 from England placed a call to Rescue Workers to attend to his Girlfriend, Khun Pinrut aged 24 who had ingested Fabric Cleaner and had slit her wrist after a domestic dispute with her foreign boyfriend. Mr. Ryan was powerless to prevent his girlfriend from harming herself after she locked herself inside her room. Eventually a spare key was found and she was found in an unconscious state suffering from blood loss and the effects of consuming the liquid. She was rushed to the Pattaya Memorial Hospital where her condition is now stable. Mr. Ryan explained that Khun Pinrut would constantly question her boyfriend’s intentions and would accuse him of seeing other women.

The second and more serious case comes from the Romboon Apartments in Soi 5 off the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien. Police Lieutenant Colonel Egadit from Dongtan Police Sub-Station located on Jomtien Beach was called to the location on Wednesday Morning to deal with an apparent suicide. The victim, Khun Janyar aged 26 had apparently hung herself from the top of a wardrobe. The woman was discovered by her Husband; Khun Eet aged 30 who explained to Police that the pair were suffering from financial hardship and the family of the deceased were pressurizing her to send money back to her family home which she was unable to do. Police inspected the body and room and found no apparent signs of third party involvement in the case but they are questioning Khun Eet further before they close the case.
