Three 14-Year-Old Boys Killed in Motorbike Crash on Their Way to Celebrate End of Term

What I really have difficulty getting my head around is the number of motorbikes on the road at night with no lights, some with no number plates too. absolutely invisible until its "too late" total insanity.

Surely some sort of national TV campaign featuring a few of their cherished "celebrities" could change this?     They are as a people relatively easily manipulated, they were quick enough to start wearing masks during covid and some still do!

Come on a rear light bulb costs about 30 baht but it can't be forced on them, they have to want to comply for it to happen.  Its actually more important than helmet at night which would do little to help when impacted at high speed by a car or truck

If you read the OP, it tells you not only who posted the story, but also when.

What I was suggesting George was the date the topic was started.
When I open up the " Unread content " there is no indication of how long the topic has been posted , it would be more user friendly .

But as you suggested , I have to open a topic to see if I have read it.
See " Unread Content " screenshot , no dates.

Come to my neck of the city, where these same people are driving against traffic on the busiest and most dangerous roads to do so on. I assume they are trying to commit suicide. I mean how safe do these people think it is to, have no lights, no helmet, sometimes driving at night against traffic with no visible shoulder? I couldn't even dream up a more dangerous scenario, but there are multiple motorcycles doing it every few minutes. For the naysayers, just travel down Tiwanon Road (route 306) between Pak Kret center to the Pathum Thani border in both directions, its a daily occurrence here.

the ones that ride a scoot, at night against the traffic with a red bulb in the head light always make me chuckle.

Everyone blames the police but if the country takes the ever increasing tourists in without increasing the police resources they are just at the sharp end .

You could argue they are too busy tracking every step of expats who live in Thailand for many years without any criminal record whatsoever.
