Clash Over Hampstead Heath: Dog Walkers and Gay Activists Battle Over Cruising Grounds

"Lucy Marsh of the Family Education Trust voiced concerns, stating, "Hampstead Heath is a much-loved public park and a green space that is enjoyed by families, especially those who don't have their own gardens. Parents should be able to enjoy a walk or a picnic without worrying about them seeing gay men having sex in a public place."

This is not a case of people walking their dog seeing men have sex, it's a carefully orchestrated campaign by the Family Education Trust, a virulently anti-LGBTQ+ group, who campaign against the queer community.

"Family Education Trust (FET) is a campaign group opposing the rights of LGBTQ+ people, especially those of transgender people. The group opposes LGBTQ+ education in schools and argues in favour of discriminating against same-sex couples in terms of adoption and access to care. FET supports legislation requiring teachers to “out” trans children to their parents and wants discrimination on the basis of gender identity to not be a hate crime.

The group’s leadership has praised Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán. In 2022, the group promoted the anti-Drag Queen Story Hour campaign. The far-right priest Calvin Robinson spoke at a FET event in 2024."

Their agenda is to oppose gay rights under the guise of family. Calvin Robinson, the far-right pseudo priest is a fan and has spoken on their behalf.

Whatever your views on this don't be fooled by these people and the Daily Mail.

That’s the kind of information that puts reports in perspective.

Well done.

Probably for the same reason not all heterosexual couples ‘keep it at home’.

The overwhelming majority of straight people do "keep it at home"

Many of them are attention seeking exhibitionists. 10 minutes at any gay pride parade will confirm this. They want to shock people. They want to be seen as "special".

Rather than precious.

Don't blame me that your hobby is under threat.

And I don't mean dog walking. 😄

I have a number of hobbies, not at all related to the subject of this thread.

Perhaps you are letting your imagination get the better of you again.

There are a number of instances where people who have met on dating sites come to harm,or are killed, including Grindr. The first advice given is always to meet in a public place. Plus, most are there for company, or hookups, not always sex.

Yes. Same goes for hetero hookups, and even for Meta Marketplace exchanges. A dark park or secluded space isn't the same though.

My brain hurts. If they are exposing themselves in a public area, charge them with indecency.

What. !!!!!!!!

They don't have time for real police work.

They have Face book posters to go after.

When I was a kid in the 1940s- 50s  scrumping apples  with my mates. One of us was assigned to keep doggo. To watch out for anyone who might catch us. Doggo was, as far as we knew, nothing to do with sex. How times and the English language have changed. When did you last hear a News Announcer use affect or effect? Now everything has an 'impact.' Well, I'll be buggered.🫠

First place I was taken when I arrived in London back in 1992.

What's more offending is nudity on the beaches of Brighton  and Sitges with no bushes or shrubs for them to be hidden behind.

If it was a dark park or a secluded space it wouldnt really affect anybody, unless they were looking for it.

I used to live near in a gay neighborhood in Denver Colorado. When we went to walk in the park in the morning there were often used condoms littering the ground and I even got propositioned before by gay men.

Regardless of whatever I was told growing up my experience with gay men is that they're deranged sexual deviants. I think many of them were sexually abused as children even.

They really shouldn't be allowed to adopt boys or be in the boy scouts even if you ask me. Don't ask don't tell was a fair compromise I think but being opening gay needs to be red line for some spaces.

America is morally diseased. Many people have bizarre sexual fetishes but they keep it private. Only homosexual pervasions are celebrated in America but it's all the same thing.

In line of my FB groups some guys were complaining about how pride is so commercialized and corporate. I thought to myself welcome to being accepted they would complain if companies didnt attend. Anyway one guy was saying how it was a protest followed by a BBQ and gay orgy down non the river as a place that used to be known as bare ass beach.

I remember those days I was young and everybody protesting was mad because they all had AIDS from this type of thing. Apparently Ronald Reagan was at fault not having anonymous bare back sex in the bushes after dark. The times I attended pride back in the 90 the sunken faces from people virus swapping were more than a few. Some people just don't realize how gross they are.

This would never happen in Denmark, they would bring the dogs and gays together and beautiful things would happen.

In the 70s anyway.
