Why can’t China build jetengines ?
China is building jet engines. It's new military aircraft are using them. The priority is military use engines not civilian equipment. China just gave a demonstration of its state of the art military equipment in the recent Pakistan-India clash. It looks like the Pakistanis were so effective, that India had to back down. India lose multiple combat aircraft, including prized French-made Rafale fighters, a Russian-made Su-30 MKI and MiG-29, and an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in Kashmir. The exchanges demonstrated the effectiveness of China’s fighter and missile technology over its Western and Russian counterparts. The assumptions that China is backward or has been left behind in capability is typical western culture arrogance. The Chinese are far more advanced than westerners know are wish to accept. -

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
I think this is just part of Audi's "optional" Audi Connect Function on Demand which allows a person to buy "upgrades/fore features" to certain functions on their Audi.....this program has been around for years. It's purely optional. It's kinda like if you want to pay for more ringtone on your smartphone, buy addtional stickers/emojis for some phone apps like LINE, upgrade to ad-free Youtube, upgrade the GPS map system, add more options for turn signals, etc...etc...etc. More and more electronics are now part of cars (EV and ICEV).....electronics which can do whiz-bang things and also connect to the internet.....opens up new revenue sources for car manufactures. https://www.audiusa.com/en/inside-audi/innovation/audi-connect/audi-connect-function-on-demand/ -

So where did you meet your Thai girlfriend or wife?
Both were doing PhDs in Washington State. She was headhunted by a MNC with offices and production facilities in Thailand and has been with them ever since. 🙂
