Angry with Trump, international tourists scrap their U.S. travel plans

Thomas Sowell said it best.  There are no solutions.  Only compromises.

If Making America Great Again means a few less tourists, that's a good tradeoff.

Why on earth would a tourist decide not to go to the USA because of Trump? You really need to stop reading made up stories from the wopo .

Outside the internet forum world very few act like you guys here. I was out every night last week, various different bars, different groups,  Trumps name didn't get mentioned once. You're in a DJTDS bubble.

Just possibly. Just maybe, it might be that they might just harbor the tiniest little bit of resentment over the fact that he's trying to damage their economies.

Only saddest, with high levels of DTDS like you guys here would bring politics into their holiday plans.

'Destroying economies' Slight over reaction to some reciprocal tariffs isn't it, actually, no, everything is an over reaction with regards to El' Trumpo.

I think you need some instruction in the use of quotes. Nowhere did I write "Destroying economies." And here once again for your delectation is the evidence Kwonitoy has provided that shows how contrary-to-fact your claims are:

According to Statistics Canada data released Monday, the number of Canadians driving to the US fell 23% in February compared with the same month last year, marking the second consecutive monthly decline and the second decline observed since March 2021.

Leisure bookings are also taking a hit. Flight Centre Travel Group, a major travel agency in Canada, told Business Insider it saw a 40% decrease in leisure bookings to the US in February year over year.

Even if the tariffs were dropped tomorrow, we ain't comin back for us products

This movement is just getting started, communities on the border that rely on Canadian consumers are starting to get a bit panicked
