Yes.

Thank you, would you like to share.

Best online quote I've found is CM to Suvarnahumi by Lion and return by Nok Air - total 1,732Baht

(but unless I'm mistaken NOK only use Don Muang Airport?)

Thai Airway, Bankok Airways, Thai Vietjet and Thai Air Asia are your non-stop choices between Chiang Mai and Suvarnabhumi.

Momondo is my preferred comparison site for this as it includes the Low Cost Carriers which some don't, just take care that your preference for hold bags etc carries over to the booking or that your comparing like with like.

Do you mean Lion Air, the airline that's banned from flying in the EU because of its appalling safety record?

Think that ban was lifted some years ago. But anyway Thai Lion is fine, used them a lot, never crashed once.

BS: On 16 June 2016, the European Union lifted the ban it had placed on Lion Air from flying into European airspace:coffee1:

Yes, you are correct.

NOK Air, also Thai Lion Air, only fly to Don Mueang Airport (DMK).

Thai Viet Jet, Thai Air Asia (limited flights), Bangkok Airways and Thai Airways fly to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). reference:

Yes, you are correct.

Thai Lion Air and NOK Air fly from CNX to DMK (Don Mueang).

Thai Viet Jet, Bangkok Airways and THAI Airways fly to BKK (Suvarnabhumi)

There are a limited number of flights with Thai Air Asia to BKK, the majority terminating at DMK.

Note that Momondo is owned by Priceline and now operates as a unit of Kayak. It uses the Kayak search engine. The group includes Agoda, Cheap Flights, and Booking.com

Google Flights is more reliable because it is aggregating fares available from OTAs like Priceline and Expedia and  the airlines themselves.
