Who is protecting Bangkok trains and their occupants?
BTS and MRT may be relatively expensive (compared to other Asian countries), but I don't think there is a need for 'policemen', as trains are safe. Also, there are often guards on the platforms, mostly to stop people "falling off" when the train arrives (if there are no platform screen doors). I'm sure, they would intervene, if there was any 'trouble'. -

Who is protecting Bangkok trains and their occupants?
Or the UK, as Ms Google points out ... ... "Stabbing and other violent crimes, including those involving knives, are indeed a problem on UK public transport, and there are several contributing factors. While statistics on knife crime on public transport specifically are not always readily available, the rise in overall knife crime in areas with high public transport usage has led to concerns about safety on trains, buses, and other forms of transit" ... Along with the rest of Europe ... ... "Alarming Spike in Crime on Trains and Stations Across Europe" "Figures obtained by German media organisation NiUS make specifically note that about half of the 13,543 violent crimes at stations in the first half of this year—that’s almost 27% more than in the same period just two years ago—were committed by foreign nationals. Non-German suspects were particularly overrepresented in sexual crimes at train stations, 59% of which were committed by individuals without German passports. London officials, on the other hand, appear keen to suggest the statistical rise in Britain is largely superficial. British Transport Police have attributed the more than 50% increase in violent attacks against women and girls on the nation’s railways to a greater reporting of offences, according to The Times." https://europeanconservative.com/articles/news/alarming-spike-in-crime-on-trains-and-stations-across-europe/
