A pick-up truck carrying oversized metal gates on an expressway has drawn criticism after being flagged as both illegal and highly dangerous to other road users.

The incident was highlighted by the Official Bang Phli–Suksawat Expressway Traffic Information Facebook page, which posted a photo of the overloaded vehicle along with a warning that such transport violates expressway regulations and poses a serious risk.

The truck in question was seen carrying tall, protruding metal gates without proper securing measures while driving along the Kanchanaphisek Expressway. Traffic management officials intervened and ordered the driver to exit the expressway, citing a breach of traffic regulations.

“This type of load is not allowed on expressways,” the post stated. “Overloaded and unsecured cargo creates a major hazard for other motorists and significantly increases the risk of accidents.”

Following the social media post, many users condemned the driver’s recklessness, stressing that such unsafe practices endanger not only the driver but also everyone on the road. Several commenters suggested that a larger, more suitable transport vehicle should have been used instead.

Authorities continue to urge drivers to adhere to expressway regulations and ensure that cargo is properly secured to prevent accidents and maintain road safety.

And the folks wonder why, the LOS is still considered a third world county......

Why are you posting such garbage? Do you realize that this person does not represent the mindset of the population?

What is wrong, is of course that they just took him off the express way. Seem like they have no such written regulations for minor roads. That´s wrong but it does not make it a third world country.

FYI - Here is a list of Third World Countries: https://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/third_world.htm

To an extend it sure does. You're wrong. I could literally post pics and vids of 1000s of these similar kinds of things happening constantly in thailand.

How many times do similar things like this happen daily thay aren't posted. I've seen so many with my own eyes in my 11 years living in Thailand

I've never seen a truck on a Canadian road loaded like that.
