British Man Sparks Outrage in Thai Restaurant Incident
1 incident out of how many bar and restaurant visits by visitors from the UK on any given day? Let's make a fuss over nothing. Nasty people make for nasty drunks. Tell me something we didn't already know. He is tolerated because he spends money and has a Thai wife to provide cover for his idiocy, not because of the kindness of Thais. On any given night, Thai nationals are beating someone up or stabbing or shooting someone in a bar/restaurant. -

Australian Aged Pension
Cut and paste from Centrelink website follows: "To call Centrelink from Thailand, you can use the international free call number 001 800 611 4136 or dial +61 3 6222 3455 (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Australian Eastern Standard Time). " Here's a more detailed breakdown: International Free Call Number: 001 800 611 4136 Alternative Number: +61 3 6222 3455 I've used the free call number above ( 001 800 611 4136) several times, always answered quickly. I seem to remember I changed the 001 to 009 to get out of Thailand. -
