When Did China Start Dictating Thai Tourism Policy?
2017 when they wanted their belt and road network done its called money as a weapon ten million tourists and sign on the dotted line then the numbers dwindle BUT TOURISM is fluctual for those long term we notice these things tourism nowadays is such a fickle internet selfie viral driven thing tick the box take the photo you cannot have the same numbers year on year its not the med like spain who gets all the germans brits etc sun and beer if we look at the demographics which thailand doesnt print but we rely on our observations of how cafes hotels etc change if you call folk coming to a single destination for a single day or two tourism its to fractured the islands will always be popular its the beach where do people want to go on a one or two week vacation the beach and as far as slagging off the chinese who are to use a term in their infancy of international travel lok back at the late 60s and 70s at the brits an the germans etc in spain all working class we acted in exactly the same way pot calling kettle black uneducated uncultured this guy is a trumpie no doubt emboldened to slag off china in such a public manner but in reality he is slagging off the heirarchy of Thailand dangerous move buddy -

Bangkok Gears Up for 2028 Formula One Grand Prix with New Plans
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), also known as a Letter of Intent (LOI) or Letter of Agreement (LOA), is a formal, yet non-binding agreement between two or more parties that outlines their intentions, roles, and objectives, serving as a mutual acknowledgment of potential outcomes and processes. (AI def.) So talks are happening. That's that. MOU is most definitely no done deal. 2028! 3 years from now. What are these guys on? -

Trump Officials Discussed Secret Yemen Strike Plans on Signal, Accidentally Added Journalist
The White House says NO WAR PLANS and that it was unclassified, but now it could be an ATTACK PLAN—and maybe it is classified. They also stated No locations. No sources & methods. The name of the clown show? The Houthi PC Small Group. Blind Freddy could have worked out where the target was. Any competent military analyst could have extrapolated launch and target locations using carrier positions, missile speeds, flight times, and operational patterns. The pieces were all there. Meanwhile, when Envoy Witkoff joined the chat, he was with Putin—but now denies he had his phone. Possible Putin asset Tulsi Gabba? — overseas, but conveniently can’t remember where. Hegseth? Off pumping up his warriors while dodging questions about why he put them in harm’s way—and avoiding under-oath testimony at the Senate Intel Hearing. And Trump? Yesterday, he categorically denied it was classified. Today? He is not so sure. Nothing to see here, right? -

Living alone in Bangkok
I've lived alone in Bangkok for nearly 20 years now. I did live briefly in Khao Lak, 5-months, as I came to Thailand, on work, just after the Tsunami, but moved to Bangkok in January 2006. It's a wonderful city to live in, the arts, cinema, wonderful parks, I bicycle everyday, nearly everywhere. I could walk anywhere in Bangkok and feel safe anytime of the day or night, that's critical. My Thai is adequate, but minimal. BTS/MRT/AirportLink go everywhere now. In all these years, I've never felt homesick, no once. The two times that I did briefly return for a week in 2006 when my father died, and later a for a week to renew my then B-visa. The first time was unavoidable, the second, complete waste of time. If I never see that country again I wouldn't miss it. I see absolutely no issues about living alone, if that is your preference and you're secure in yourself. It's really more of a personal issue, no mater where in the world you choose to live.
