According to Jeffrey Goldberg, the Trump administration Mike Walz accidentally added him to a Signal group chat where high-ranking officials—including VP JD Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth—were discussing imminent military strikes in Yemen.

 

The messages reportedly included detailed attack plans, specific targets, and timing.

 

Goldberg initially thought it was a mistake, but when the planned strikes actually happened, he realized the messages were legitimate.

 

The White House later confirmed the security breach and said an investigation was underway.
