as I suspected, manipulated and made up numbers, since when is gps accurate to 0.1 mm?  It isn't

I recall this same cabal of fraudsters pontificating that the tuna fish are disappearing, don't buy tinned tuna, don't contribute to global warming  climate change ....

 

But these are the same charlatans that fly their private jets to Davos to tell the lot of you that you must eat mealworm pancakes and curb your travel.

 

Last time I checked my supermarket the shelves were overflowing with tins of tuna (in spring water!) at a decent price point.

Yes the OP is all nonsense. As said, icebergs are already in the sea, so melting has no effect on sea level. Also the bit about threats to plankton is crap too. Actually, the melting of the iceberg will release trapped nutrients and cause a plankton bloom (therefore good for fisheries in the Antarctic), There would be some disruption caused to South Georgia wildlife purely because of its size blocking part of the coastline probably for years.

This is cherry picking. Sea levels in san Diego are rising, and have risen by about 6 inches in the last 100 years. Remember California is an earthquake zone (Subduction of the Pacific plate) which tends to cause uplift of continental crust. There is a reason why the Rocky mountains are on the West coast... so sometimes, in some areas, land goes up. elsewhere it goes down. Read the link below:
