Popular Post Social Media Posted Tuesday at 10:20 PM Popular Post Posted Tuesday at 10:20 PM Elon Musk to Scale Back Role in DOGE Amid Tesla Backlash Elon Musk announced on Tuesday that he plans to reduce his involvement in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), following growing criticism that his close ties to former President Donald Trump have negatively impacted Tesla. Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has long been an outspoken supporter of Trump and a leading figure in the administration's efforts to streamline government operations through DOGE. However, he acknowledged during Tesla’s latest earnings call that his association with Trump’s policies has created challenges for the company. “My time allocation to DOGE will drop significantly,” Musk stated, indicating that the shift would likely begin in May. He noted that his contributions to the initiative are now “mostly done.” Still, he intends to maintain some involvement, citing a continued responsibility to safeguard the progress made in reducing waste and fraud within government systems. “I'll have to continue doing it for I think the remainder of the President's term just to make sure the waste and fraud that we stopped does not come roaring back, which it will do if it has the chance,” Musk explained. Despite stepping back from full-time involvement, he said he would still dedicate limited time to government matters. “I think I'll continue to spend a day or two per week on government matters for as long as the President would like me to do so and as long as it would be useful,” he added. Lift your gaze to the bright shining citadel on the hill — I don't know, some Reagan-esque imagery — and that's where we're headed.” In a more controversial remark, Musk claimed without offering evidence that some of the protests against Tesla have been fueled by illegitimate financial incentives. “That is the real reason for the protests,” he alleged. “Tesla protesters are receiving fraudulent money from the government.” The decision to step back comes at a pivotal time for Musk, as Tesla navigates market pressures and a divided public perception, amplified by his political engagement. While he may be shifting his focus away from Washington, the influence of his decisions — both corporate and political — continues to draw national attention. When Tesla hit the marketplace, they were hailed by liberals (among others) as a means to drive a stylish car and save the environment. Owning one made you the envy of neighbors. Now driving that same "save the earth" auto, you are reviled, your car vandalized, etc. Your "pointing and calling a fascist" is the sort of stupid knee jerk behavior that lowers opinion of liberals in eyes of thinking humans. It's the same car, for chrissakes... maybe not even paid off yet! I am a liberal, but I also know how to reason (not totally an oxymoron). I wouldn't buy a Tesla, Musk is such a Nazi. And how about all those virtue signallers that proclaim "I sold my Tesla"... okay, but it is still on the road, you took an economic hit & we should salute you? I saw a news report on re-badging.... what the hey, make it look like that VW Nazi staff car that was later reissued to the public... 2

So the damage hasn't shaken sentiment so far. The other thing could be that maybe people that support Elon are hoarding stock. Whatever the case is we can only guess but this isn't a Bud Lite disaster yet. I am not in TSLA but considering getting in and the passenger car is the last reason I can think of to do so. The car one day will be looked at as the thing that got Tesla off the ground. Short the stock if you disagree and you know how. 1 2

Unfortunately the MSM lies are just copied by others, You are part of the problem and all your ilk
JonnyF Posted 7 minutes ago Posted 7 minutes ago Domestic terrorism by the left appears to have worked on this occasion. I hope it doesn't spur them on to greater acts of violence.
