Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City has introduced a complimentary bus service to facilitate passenger transit between its domestic terminals. The newly opened Terminal 3 (T3) and Terminal 1 (T1) are now connected by this service, offering convenience for passengers on connecting flights.

Operating from 7 a.m. to 3 a.m., the shuttle runs every 20 minutes from the transit hall of T3 to Gate A2 of T1. Passengers who have already checked in and hold boarding passes for their next flight can avail themselves of this service at no cost.

Previously, the airport provided free shuttle buses between T1 and the international Terminal 2 (T2). This service operates every 10-15 minutes, starting at 6 a.m. and continuing until 2 a.m. the next day.

Opened on April 17, T3 is the largest domestic passenger terminal in Vietnam, with an annual capacity of 20 million passengers. This VND11 trillion (US$423 million) investment has increased Tan Son Nhat Airport's total capacity to 50 million passengers per year. Terminal 3 currently handles Vietnam Airlines flights to Hanoi and Van Don.

The introduction of the shuttle service underscores the airport's commitment to enhancing passenger convenience and streamlining transit operations between its terminals.
