Popular Post garygooner Posted May 3 Popular Post Posted May 3 I'm a bit behind the times, but I've just found out that TrueVisions won't be showing EPL for the next few seasons at least. JAS have won the rights to broadcast EPL until 2028. That means you may be able to watch a live match on free Thai Channel Mono29, and also streaming on Monomax. Interesting to see how this all pans out. 2 1
Pumpuynarak Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Thanks for your post. I'm a TVisions football follower and payer of 2600Bht per month membership. You can guess how unhappy i am with this change, i wonder how much TV are going to reduce my monthly bill by ? 1
garygooner Posted May 5 Author Posted May 5 Yeah, I have the platinum package. No word about price reduction of course, just some extra channels to make up for losing EPL. Wouldn't be surprised if those extra channels were Chinese, Korean & Japanese. 1
CallumWK Posted May 5 Posted May 5 Get a decent IPTV subscription and dump True visions, you get all your EPL and much more interesting channels at a fraction of the platinum package price. 2
garygooner Posted May 5 Author Posted May 5 Actually JAS tv have bought the PL and FA Cup for the next 6 seasons. I did read that JAS would like as many people as possible to be able to watch the football including AIS & True customers, so maybe True can buy 'some' PL matches. We'll have to wait and see. 1

Yep, yet more sports channels guaranteeing yet more wall-to-wall coverage of yet more pointless badminton, tennis, basketball & golf tournaments televised live from China, South Korea and Japan with solely local lingo & Thai commentary, I strongly suspect. 1

Looks like they've won the rights for both EPL & FA Cup games in Thailand, Cambodia & Laos until at least 2030/31: ☹️ https://mono29.com/prnews/499085.html And it doesn't look like Truevisions are going to get any look-in - although maybe I'll be able to watch live games on my titchy little AIS mobile screen instead?? 🤣 https://www.jasmine.com/en/updates/corporate-news/388/jas-จับมือ-ais-ลงนาม-mou-ดึงคอนเทนต์ลีกฟุตบอลระดับโลกเตรียมเสิร์ฟตรงถึงแฟนบอลไทย-ผ่านแพลตฟอร์ม-ais-play-และ-monomax Despite all the brave words currently being uttered at the JAS end at the present time, I seriously wonder whether we could end up having another CTH-style fiasco on our hands in practice when and if they eventually realise that they have bitten off more than they can chew. 1 1

Maybe you only have experienced knock off subscriptions. Or out of date about what is available. Official subscriptions from licensed (legal) / authorised companys are perfect pictures .. with zero buffering. You need reasonable internet access of course. True last season was perfect. Zero buffering. Not one buff ( ha ha ) the whole season. The new content provider will be the same, I am sure. It is a well established company / App.. .. I have downloaded the App onto my TV already.. and awaiting info re signing up. And confirmation it is MAX that is providing EPL. It is a Thai company I read and not the USA MAX. (There is an American company called HBO MAX .. soon (or already) to be called MAX. No authorised service to Thailand the App store says. I wonder if some might get confused.

delboy Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Thanks for the info on packages. Just from a quick look, it seems you won't be able to watch matches on a PC, that means straining my eyes to watch the matches on my phone 1

So you'll either need a device (iPad) that you can cast to your TV. Or if you have a Smart TV you should be able to install their app and watch it directly. Worst case is to buy a cheap Android box. They do say it'll be available on Apple TV before the start of the season so that may be an option for laptops or PCs, but remains to be seen.

Yep. And for 1 year 3,000 baht is good value. I think True was twice that. Forgotten already ! I have already subscribed for 12 months. Working fine on my tablet and I can cast to my TV. Nothing of interest to me, till the season starts. Direct viewing via the MAX App on the TV is not behaving. It keeps telling my login details are wrong. They aint ! And the taking a pic of the QR code thingy not work. I screen dumped everything on joining, as I went. Email address, phone number, PW. Hey Ho. I will email their help desk when in the mood. I was trying to change PW as it was not happy .. it said they will email a new PW. But no email ever arrives. Tried it 3 times. Not sure why I am posting about this .. maybe testing if any one else having the problem. I notice they are showing the World Club Cup. But only live. There is no repeat stream option. I can stream repeats another way ( DAZN ). I hope they have watch repeats option for EPL or it will be a freaking disaster for me. I watch nearly every game .. spread over the following. week. Keeps me out of mischief.

I have got a subscription and got it ( Monomax ) up and running on my tablet. Frustratingly, I cant get logged in directly on my Smart TV. The freaking thing does not recognise my email or phone nr .. but I am obviously using the correct details as per my profile, I can see them, on my profile in their App on my tablet. Their support is non existent. Many mails to their support email go unanswered. Hey Ho .... Anyways .. re your post ... there is a Monomax box. There are many YouTube videos and reviews, about them. The reviews I can select English translate and they all good. But the videos are all in Thai, that I cannot understand. 1,000 baht on Lazada. Seems reasonable price, if the freaking signing in complication can ever be overcome ! I should not need one, having their App on my Smart TV ...... but might be a plan B to avoid casting from my tablet. It is a shame you cant get a box from a 3BB shop, all ready to plug n play. 1

I got an AIS Play box when I installed AIS fibre a couple of months ago so got that set up today. It has Monomax and Netflix and all the usual apps pre-loaded, but it is essentially an Android box so you can install whatever you like. And via AIS the premier league is only 199 baht a month which is just crazy cheap. They also have some really good cheap entertainment packages: HBO Max, Disney +, Netflix etc. https://www.ais.th/en/consumers/entertainment/ais-play 1

Actually thinking about it .... I have already got 2 Android Boxes. But no idea how to load Apps. I not the sharpest. Hey Ho. I may need to pay my Thai techy guy, that I know to sort. At the moment I am still hoping for Mono to answer my 5 emails re why my smart TV does not let me log on to their app. My email is not being recognised by the TV but is on my tablet. Maybe I can only have 1 apparatus, not the 2 I understand it to be. A reply from freaking Mono would help. Not impressed !

I know from a friend who subscribed that you are definitely only allowed to be signed in on one device at a time. So if you are signed in on your tablet you can't sign in on your TV. Obviously I don't know if that is the issue in your case, but the one device thing is properly enforced.
