Must be a Pattaya thing. I've walked around all other cities at night and it's peaceful.

Last week a drunk homeless thai man trying to stab his drunk girlfriend with a 9 inch knife on beach road, everyone watching.

People are drinking all day and night, it can kick off any time but usually at night after a skin full

I'm up early so do most things in the morning, back in the condo for the afternoon. Most weirdos and troublemakers are out at night

I've never seen a street fight anywhere. Are they common in Pattaya?

  • Days and really have no reason or desire to be out past sunset, as sunset is about as late as I'm out, and usually, just for the sunset.    Main meal is done before sunset, and married, so not on the

But he didn't attack farangs. Most attacks on farangs seem to be tuk tuk disputes, ladyboys or drunks not paying bar bills.

So, you stay home at night after 11 PM because you are worried that a drunk Thai ex boyfriend might attack you ?

I like the 5.30-7.00 pm stretch the best, dunno whether that's considered day or night.

Don't be silly, I'm just up early doing cycling or playing golf, can't go out late also, once a week enough for me.

When's the last time you went out in Pattaya late? when was it and where did you go?

Probably 99% of violence is fights in bars when people have been drinking heavily.

I would never even go to Pattaya in the day time .

I wouldn't go anywhere near the place day or night

Between people who have been drinking , can easily just walk away

Late night after 11PM: How about immediately after the last world cup on Soi Buakhao? Anybody remember that one?

You should mostly entertaining, i sometimes do a long walk including walking street early when I'm not cycling or playing golf, see the people rolling out the bars and clubs, drunk, makeup smudged, ladyboys everywhere

If your life is in and about beer bars and red light districts, yes,

When I traveled more frequently to Patong and Pattaya there where occasionally stupid dead drunks who got beaten up for various reasons, or some alpha males who thought they could handle escalated situations,

Except that Thailand is one if the safest countries to be stupid and get away with it statistically if you know when to stop acting stupid.

i don't have a problem with it as i live in a different time zone

Perhaps it's one of his Thai ex boyfriends that might attack him🤫

Red light districts and beer bars is quite a sight at daytime.

Just like the movie from Dust to Dawn, if only the smell,  is something for itself 🌝

What do you make of the German guy who just got kicked out of his home by his wife?

Funny how you married guys are always staunchly supporting your lifestyle, but never seem to acknowledge all the problems associated with it.

The smell in red light districts bothers you? what a joke.

Don't we all like quiet life if we have what we need in life?

Met a Thai woman married to a British guy. They've been married over 20 years.

She wanted to live up sticks in her hometown, but he didn't because he complained it was "too quiet" up there.

So she conceded to his request.

Thats true. Excess people are annoying.

I prefer the cool of early mornings, teeing off at 6.30 am. A swim before lunchtime.

Nights are the time when the drunks and yaabaa addicts come out to play on the roads, I stay home.

I don't like to be in the vicinity of prostitutes, ladyboys and customers and all the other low life's they attract , especially at night when they are drunk.

Depravity and no class , the cesspit of humanity , where all the no hopers end up
