Crime Russian Tourist Busted for Smuggling Hashish into Thailand

A 36-year-old Russian man has been nabbed by authorities on Koh Phangan for smuggling hashish into Thailand by swallowing the contraband. The cunning plan was intended to dodge customs inspections, but his luck ran out thanks to a tip-off to local police.

 

In a bust worthy of a thriller plot, tourist police officers in the Maduawan area acted on intel about a foreigner dealing drugs to tourists near a local convenience store.

Under pressure, Denis admitted to swallowing condom-wrapped parcels of hashish before arriving from Bhutan, aiming to shift the load to eager tourists at eye-watering prices. Plenty drugs to be had all over tourist areas in Thailand. It’s not a new thing, since all the cannabis shops opened its got worse every year. And it’s not only cannabis.

He successfully smuggled the hashish through customs.

Haven't smoked any good hash in forty or fifty years.  Maybe I need to go to kho pangan.

I once smuggled an ounce of Lebanese red hash into the US.  Bought it in Paris for $10 and mailed it back to L.A wrapped up in some dirty clothes.  It made it through.  The US was pretty dry in that summer of 69 due to Nixon's operation intercept policy.  I was

a pretty popular guy when that hash arrived right after I did.

Super easy to make top-draw "bubble hash" now with the 20%+ THC cannabis they sell here. All you need is ice and a series of straining bags. It's that easy. No messing with solvents. You dump the mixture of ice, water, and cannabis through 3-4 strainer bags. You got bubble hash.
