Despite Bill Maher at 70 and all the other elders whining and complaining, it IS the younger generations world and they are getting it from the older generation. What kind of a screwed up world are we leaving them to inherit? Minor and major wars all over the place, convicted felons, serial liars and sexual offenders running countries, I am 80 and I have done my tiny bit to try and change the world, and failed. I would like to think that if I were in my late teens or 20's, that I would be marching alongside them and protesting as loudly as they do. After all what have we left them with as our heritage to them, that we can truly be proud of? -

One would hope 🤪 There are quite a few types of BIAS that form in each individual as they pass through this thing called life. This one is a real b*tch when it comes to making objective decisions on what is "true" or not : .Confirmation bias is the tendency to search for, interpret, focus on and remember information in a way that confirms one's preconceptions. Knowing everything about everything just ain't possible . Forum people using google to make their assertions about truth on complex subjects is just a joke. I try to focus on those I am interested in , especially ones i have a good deal of experience with . That said..... i see this forum as kind of a make-up for me having missed out on kindergarten . i like playing , observing, joking , and learning a thing or two. Fighting ?....... only if you try to take my ball away or force me to do something I don't want to !🙂 -
