Something that I noticed when farang friends arrived in BKK after several months in the boonies, Buri Ram or where ever. They couldn't stop talking. I suspected that when they were at home conversation was at a premium.

I’m not in Thailand yet. I intend to retire there in 4 years or so. I’m interested to know about nice places like that,
