Ex-Flame Blamed for Fiery Bust-Up in Pattaya Bar Drama

A fiery incident broke out in Pattaya as Anne’s Island Spice Bar went up in flames, with the owner's ex-boyfriend suspected of foul play. In the small hours of May 14, sparks flew as a blaze ignited panic, prompting an urgent reaction from emergency services.

The fire reportedly started in a bedroom, spreading to the lounge before firefighters managed to contain the damage, leaving behind charred clothing but no injuries.

The authorities are casting a suspicious eye on a 39-year-old man, now in custody, linked romantically to bar owner Ladda Hair, who was astonished by the blaze.

Ladda recounted the mysterious fire outbreak, despite a history of electrical mishaps at the venue: "I was closing up when smoke suddenly started filling the place," she said. Quick actions by a nearby motorcycle taxi driver, who used an extinguisher, prevented further destruction, according to Ladda.

Fuel was added to the fiery claims by a local resident who remained unnamed, citing threats made by the ex. "He told me straight up he was going to burn the bar down.

I warned Ladda," the resident revealed. Police are vigorously investigating, piecing together testimonies and trawling through CCTV footage to unravel the fiery mystery while ensuring a fair process for all involved.
