Dr Warong Dechgitvigrom, leader of the Thai Pakdee Party, released a viral video this week revealing the interior of a VIP room at the Police General Hospital in Bangkok.

 

This room is strikingly similar to the luxurious suite former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra reportedly inhabited for six months during his medical treatment. I have high bloodpressure too but I don't need to be hospitalized and if I have to stay in a hospital even my private room doesn't look like this.. But yeah I don't have the money as Thaksin has and I can't bribe anyone, and with a PM that has no clue what is going on but only speak what daddy says it is no wonder the country is a mess

If you believe that Taskin's daughter, the present PM, makes any decisions (other than what is is going to eat for dinner) without the approval and direction of her father is simply naive. I find Thai politics amusing at best and pathetic at worse. Taskin (Sr.) is the de facto PM of Thailand.

Well considering he originally was given a sentence of 8 years reduced down to 1 year and he was forced to stay in this horrible room when in fact he should be locked up where he belongs I truly hope the government comes it's senses and locks him up for ever,, not that it will happen.

Aw, come on, lordgrins, he is a man of simple means.  After all he's a product of Sam Houston State University in Huntsville Texas where he received a PhD in criminal Justice in 1978.  I'll bet he spent a lot of time studying the crooks at the prison there and could almost talk with a Texas drawl if he wanted.  We're proud he chose Texas to learn the arts of justice. 😉👍(and that's a Gig 'em thumb emoji, not just a symbol of approval or as in the US air force it means $hit Hot).

OMG it’s a penthouse how much was he paying per night at my local hospital it cost 3,000 baht per night for a room which has the patients bed a settee a TV and a private bathroom it’s no bigger than 18 square metre
