Slow puncture rear tyre GPX Drone

Featured Replies

So I have a slow puncture that is needing air more often.Normally I would just go out and get a new tyre and been quoted 1000 baht. But in few weeks probably going home for a few months so was going to wait till I come back but need to take action now.I see on the tyre it says tubeless. I know on bicycles inner tubes can be fitted but is that done on motorbikes?. If the inner tube idea not so good and too much messing around I will just go ahead and replace.Any suggestions

Thanks

First you have to find it, slow leak could also be from around the valve or rims...!

Then they either plug tubeless tyres, sometimes works well..., or can ask them to take it off and patch it from inside, this works a lot better, and last for a good long time...

If a new tyre, worth the repair, otherwise a new one. I say forget putting a tube, not worth the effort and cost (on a small bike/tyre)...

My wife had a slow (days/weeks) puncture on here tubeless tire shod electric scooter. She would unbeknownst to me visit a local moocy shop and pay 20 baht to get it reinflated.

Easy fix for me was an aerosol can of tire sealer from Mr. DIY. I think more escaped during filing than went inside but it did solve her problem.

Depending on the location the leak is it would be easiest to plug it.

Can fit a tube though, you would need a 14-2.75, they are approx Bt80.00

Either of the above any scooter shop can sort.
