No need to spend more than 250 baht for a good burger.  Even that's a bit much, as a local vendor puts out a very nice Wagyu burger w/fries for 179 baht.

Had a Double Whopper yesterday for dinner, and damn it was good.  ฿1 per gr of perfectly charred beef (฿249), freshly prepared (assembled) nice & hot.

At PTT Park, on hwy 4, just south of hwy 35 intersection.  So much better than the Bk @ Bluport Mall / Hua Hin.

Yea, should have adjusted the lettuce before snapping, but I was hungry, no time to waste ... 😎

Robin Hood has good burgers.  The most expensive beef burger is the Smothered Jack Daniels Burger.

Prime Burger can also be good.

Anyway, there are also other burger places around, but for consistent quality, I like those two.

A whopper is the only burger I would eat from BK, but they do not taste as good as they used to.

Definitely location dependent, as most are disappointing.  Think I'll be popping into that BK quite often when hungry on the way home.

I stopped eating any food that I don't cook myself.  I'm more concerned with keeping my body fat as low as possible than caring about what the food tastes like.

I also don't want to waste money paying someone else to make my food when I can buy and cook for so much less.  1kg of raw chicken tenders (approx 20 pcs) is only 95 baht in Lotus's.

I pretty much only eat boiled chicken and steamed vegetables, with dry chilli powder and smoked paprika if I want to add some flavour.  Personally I like the taste of just plain boiled chicken.

Isn't smoked paprika a carcinogen?

Boiled chicken with a tablespoon or two of Bovril in the water goes goods.

It's minced/ground beef, it doesn't need to be Wagyu. Beef currently 215 baht per kg. That's five 200 gram burgers. 44 baht each. What other ingredients make up a 400 baht cost?

Has anyone tried the food at Yua Cafe and Dining in Wongamat?  I stopped by yesterday and looked at the menu they had outside.  They've got all sorts oof food in the dining building, including steaks and what looked like a tasty burger with fries.  I think it was around 300 baht.  Beers are over 100 baht or so up to 150, depending.

That seems to be an 'in thing' now, stuffed waffles.  Especially with the Keto folks, using cottage cheese, egg & cheese mix as a batter.
