Sounds like a Kiwi to me. 😮

Check-in luggage, slightly overweight 😂

Those sniffer dogs at Oz airport, he was bound to get busted.

Treat your remark with the contempt it deserves.

A lot of the comments here seem to take pleasure in the man's misfortune. I don't get it. Why is that? There is a word for it but it's not English; schadenfreude.  I think it means gaining pleasure from another person's misfortune or pain. I feel really sorry for him and hope he can cut a deal to minimise his sentence. It was only speed he was smuggling; after all.

Original Australians are aborigines.

Ok, where did I say anything else? What made you feel the need to correct?

I was looking for the original Australian bushman, and not what kind of people who are the original inhabitants of Australia. Neither did I post that the bushman is the original Australian.

Sounds Vietnamese

Vietnamese parents, maybe born on Australia. Many Vietnamese Australian citizens now.

Our son has a lovely Vietnamese wife and a stunning thai-vietnamese daughter.

We poisoned their drinking water holes, spread a lot of disease they had no immunity to and shot a lot of them.

Finally admitting to being an Aussie then Malky boy? You slipped up there - must be kicking yourself. The truth is out.

Just stating facts. Original Australians are Aborigines.

Sure, feel free to do that, but why quote a post that has nothing to do with that? Just post your facts instead.

I believe its fish head soup with rice....

Thanks for that.

Not having had the misfortune of dining there I assumed old rice would be the staple dish

You poor soul. Welcome to bangkok Hilton for the rest of your life. But hey, its a free holiday.

Well, a Secondo by the name with Vietnamese roots. Glad to hear, that all that stuff will not reach any end users now. Maybe Tran Huybao Khang will have icy days, weeks, months, years ahead of him with the compliments of the Thai juristic system; good luck to you Sir.

Another unanswered question though remains; how on Earth do you haul 22kgs of super-illegal stuff to the airport? Did it fall from the sky like manna from heaven or is there a more earthly explanation to this? I am not aware, that you can buy the staff by the suitcase in the 7/11 around the corner ...........
