TMW is asking for a scan of the passport again to verify. OK so I did the scan then it said it will report back in two days, in the meantime can't login or use. Moral to the story, keep a low balance because it's quite possible they will just lock the account

Had the same about 2 weeks ago, new scan and after 2 days all ok again.

It coincided with me using a new phone and installing TMW again

It asked me for a scan when I first tried to set it up. Two days later asked again. And again. Two days later again . i gave up

Looks like the app has improved, it's a different process now, probably worth you uninstalling, installing and trying again, the scanning part was easy this time

I hate Truewallet.

 

If I am asked for money,  unfortunately,  my banking app isn't working. 

Promptpay, I don't have. 

"Oh, just go down to the 7/11 in your condo and pay money into my Truewallet!"

My excuse is, that our 7/11 staff doesn't let foreigners do this - not a very credible excuse. 

Is there a better one?

(Unfortunately,  I speak Thai, so I can't claim 7/11 didn't understand my English)

Get your banking app to work, go to the branch. 

 

TMW is useful but I don't know why they have to suspend the app while they check the passport, should only suspend if an issue after 

2 days later the app started working again, no messages or calls, I couldn't log in until then which would make contacting them very difficult. Moral to story keep mimimum balance in case they freeze your account
