Coyote Dancers Arrested for Samut Prakan Shoplifting Spree

Two coyote dancers and an accomplice were arrested for stealing from at least nine convenience stores in Samut Prakan between May 16–17. Caught on CCTV, 20-year-olds Nicha and Parichat admitted to the thefts, citing low wages and family expenses. They sold stolen household items worth 40,000 baht to a woman named Siriwan, who was also arrested. Police believe Siriwan resold the goods below market price. The dancers face up to five years in prison for nighttime theft; Siriwan faces charges for handling stolen goods. The investigation highlights economic struggles pushing some into petty crime.
