I haven't seen any video of a woman being slapped, or the size of alleged woman.

All I've seen is a pack of Thai guys kicked the heads in of two foreigners.

It was reported that they attacked the woman.

Just read a article that Malaysia has now beat Thailand on Tourist arrivals first quarter of 2025. 10.1 million arrivals

Thailand second 9.55 million arrivals

You can see Thailand with the daily   bad press  reports of fighting  drugs ect slowly getting worse for future Tourist arrivals 😱

Malaysia is the place to go 🥳

These problems have nothing to do with the visa policy and everything to do with the prostitution / bar scene. Clean that up and your quality of tourists will improve immensely. I spend half the year in Bangkok, and half the year in Dubai. The UAE draws large amounts of tourists and you never hear of that happening there. That's because low class tourists don't go there to get drunk and visit prostitutes. It isn't tolerated there, and it shouldn't be here either if they want to eliminate these problems.

Were you there, if not, then you have no right to sit in judgement.

I reserve my right to comment on this forum. We are all members here, with equal rights. We can read about foreigners behaving bad on a daily basis here. Why do you think that is. In my opinion they should all have same treatment, and after deported.

I don't understand the abusive or violent behavior of drunk individuals. It has happened to me quite often to drink too much, but I usually felt in a drowsy state, fascinated by the girls' butts while being unable to get aroused . . .

These Thai guys could care less about the lady. It just made an excuse for a good stomping. We've seen this behavior time and time again. I'm not defending the foreigners just stating a known fact. Thai men love a one sided brutal attack, much like the soi dogs I've encountered.

Remember, the Thai men do not respect us, hate us and yes, love to beat the crap out of us Farangs in a NY minute.

Right. Mob rule is the best way to go. It’s why most countries don’t bother with a police force to enforce laws. 🙄

Instead of cheering on the vigilantes, how about calling for the rule of law supported by effective enforcement by the police? Do you think these images are going to encourage law abiding quality tourists to visit Thailand any time soon?

Hey, seems like the only thing pouring in over the borders are pure trash and morons. So, maybe good if images and videos like this can serve as a deterrent.

Some areas here are very popular as an entertainment center because they have prostitution, bars and food. They aren't the family friendly places they promote them as. They just want as many people coming as possible to make that money. They don't care what happens to tourists as long as they spend money and leave. If they did care the amount of crime would be reduced by enforcement. There are many such places worldwide that have the same things, and many flock to them because of it.

His deduction is spot on, as it is for NYC, Bangkok, Dallas, Los Angeles, Tokyo and many other places. With good entertainment and positive things comes the bad, because the bad means money also. Yes, you can behave well and never have trouble in these places, or you can be in the wrong place at the wrong time and end up being a victim of a criminal.

Pattaya is very popular because of the women there. With those women comes scams, fights, STD's, theft and good times for some. Remember a lot of the smiles are there because they think they can profit from foreigners. There are many people in those "happy entertainment centers" that are there to make money from tourists, any way they can get it. Crime will always come from these areas because crime makes profits. The best way to avoid crime is to stay away from these places, but if it's what you like, you take that risk going there, because they will never change.

I think you need to read again, and understand that I did not need your explanation or you acting like a teacher. Did you read that I had over 27 years of experience of Thailand? Did you also read never had a problem? To me, that seems like a huge risk, right?

We know what happened.

the two foreigners attacked the thai woman.
and the foreigners were taught some manners.

A lesson in violence they will never forget.

It is surprising that some on this forum seem to be upset that the troublemakers came off second best after attacking a small woman.

It clearly shows your pea-sized brain on full tilt.

Stop butt-kissing the Thais.

You are soo misinformed, my friend. Sure, there are hundreds of idiots out in such areas, as they attract all kinds of people. However, if you have hundreds of idiots, then I guess the guards don´t have to look very far to find those idiots. I have been living in Thailand for over 27 years, and I been out in the country, been living in Pattaya, and Bangkok and many times on visit to Phuket, Krabi and more. As I always behaved good, I´ve never had any bar staff nor guards done anything more than smiling at me.

Also how you can speak like you do about one of the worlds most popular entertainment areas is baffling. Just because you are of that opinion, doesn´t make it like that for all others. Like me, for example. Never had a problem and always have smiling and friendly people around me. Sure, if thinking like you do, and walking in with a negative to bad attitude to everything, then you actually might find yourself in problem as it rubs of on other people just as much as a smile and a friendly attitude. Let´s just say like this. people who are negative, does not belong in happy entertainment areas. Just leave that to positive people who can take things for what it is.

Bangla is most certainly not "one of the world's most popular entertainment areas".  Not even close.  Having lived not far from the street for many years, I saw the mess that the street was and still is. It is a magnet for scum and the very worst of Thailand's tourist demographic.  The ripoffs and petty crime are under reported. Thailand can and does offer much better entertainment venues than Bangla. It is wonderful that you enjoy Bangla. Perhaps, the stench from the sewage  grates is what attracts you.

It's a pity that other foreign customers in the bar (would be a very good chance there was) didn't step up and teach these 2 bellends the error of their behaviour, could have saved it even getting out onto the street.

No need for that! Can´t it be enough with that they slapped a Thai woman. Why the heck would they do that? I know very well that Thai males stands for a huge part of domestic violence, but regular Thai people dislike them as well.

What do you mean more to the story? Did the Thai woman say something that offended them, and the only thing the silly morons could do was slap her?
