It's about safeguarding and reducing as much as possible the risk of children from abuse by adults.  The odds of male/female partners both being pedophiles is incredibly small whereas it would be a lot higher for 2 males whether straight or gay.  Would you be okay with 2 straight male guys adopting 2 little girls or do you think that would put those girls at needless and avoidable risk?  

 

Pride is about people who desire to have sex with people of their same sex.   It has nothing to do with any other aspect of their character.  I'd equate it to a swingers convention attended by straight people which doesn't require a special month, nor does it happen in public, nor does it require schoolchildren to be taught about it.

So you're changing tack now. It's not because they're gay it's because they're both males. That doesn't sit very well with your original post that was at pains to show them as gay adopters and your allusion to Pride.

I think if you have the dough, you can pretty much hire a surrogate and effectively buy a baby. I think the going rate in the US is $100-200K all-in.

I suggest you watch the short on IG where it appeared. It was an all volunteer  activity and was a message of appreciation to the   employees. All it did was show that there are AC employees who are LBQT etc. and that they perform all roles, and are as reliable and as good as anyone else.  The airline has done similar  them activities for ethnic minority groups. The intent is to assure prospective employees and customers that the airline is not hostile to them. There was no gay message or advocacy to turn people gay. The airline also does a Christmas series of videos.

You would be surprised at how many 30 year olds are using surrogacy, IVF and other methods to conceive. I was  flabbergasted, when my work colleagues and my  family members were telling me of their friends and family experiences.
