I Have Changed My Mind Since Oct 7 Terror Attack, Have You?

Featured Replies

When the Oct 7th attack happened, I listened to the Palestinian Ambassador to the UK and hated everything he said and totally condemned the Palestinians, and Islam in general to be honest. Recently, I've heard more about the exact plan that Netanyahu's government have, the oppression of the Palestinians and have totally changed my mind about this whole conflict and now condemn the Israeli Democratic government. Have any of the Aseannow posters changed their minds on this conflict?
A video I watched yesterday really spoke volumes to my morals. Piers Morgan has also changed his mind on the conflict.
The Palestinian Ambassador has also changed and tells about the government there and their plans and how Hamas are just one party.

Do any pro-Israel posters condemn what the Israeli government are doing.

I have believed from day one that Israel should not stop until Hamas has been obliterated.  While the tactics may sound horrendous, no one has a solution to on how to stop the evil Hamas.

The U.S. lost in Iraq and Afghanistan because of "rules of engagement."  Israel does not intend to make the same mistake.

Israel are doing that now. Do you mean all in Gaza or the ones in West Bank too?

I used to think the same.

The ambassador says there is a solution. Let all hostages go and give Palestine a State.

Who in the video says? Do they belong to Hamas?

Here is what Hamas says

The deadliest slaughter of Jews in a single day since the Holocaust was a “military accomplishment” and “a source of pride for our people… to be passed down from generation to generation,” al-Hayya said.

Hamas’s top negotiator in the ceasefire and hostage talks said despite suing for an end to the war, the group would continue to pursue Israel’s destruction, looking toward Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque as a “compass.”

They have the ability to do it without us.

Anyone who is attacking them or supporting those that do should be removed.

The Palestinian ambassador, who is not a member of Hamas, he represents Palestine. He talks of Hamas being one of many political parties. Well worth taking the time to watch.

That is not a viable solution as long as Hamas exists.  Period!

Agree 100%. For the misery to stop once and for all, Israel needs to completely wipe out Hamas as an organisation.

There are Arabs living in Israel that are content and do not care to live under Hamas or the PA.

Why don't you just ask the question you have in mind, no need to try and lead me to water. I'm drinking no matter what.

Yes, ALL muslims should be removed

No, the main man who represents Palestine is Abbas, nice try but huge fail.

Palestinian president urges Hamas to lay down arms

RAMALLAH, April 23 (Reuters) - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas called on Hamas on Wednesday to lay down arms and hand the running of Gaza to his Palestinian Authority, part of efforts to answer international doubts over the authority's role at a key moment for the region.
Abbas was speaking at a leadership council where he is expected this week to name a successor amid pressure from Western and Arab powers concerned about the PA's ability to play a viable-long term role in peace efforts.

Yes, maybe. (I haven't followed recent developments that closely.) - If they can't, they should probably move out and fortify their border instead.

Ambassadors represent their government. He is the representative in the UK.

Nice try at what?

Nice try at deflection, you know what. ABBAS represents the PA and is the one with authority, not the opinions of the UK rep and here are Abbas orders to Hamas

This is why Israel is having a difficult in wiping out Hamas.  They are embedded within the civilian population .  Much of the killing would stop if Hamas was outed by the civilian population.

Offer $100,000 for a head and hands. See how many of the locals hate Hamas.
