He does not have to be convicted to be deported.

As long as he's in the country, which he is, and has no legitimate asylum claim, which he does not, he can be deported.

Not disputing that. He does need due process, which he was denied.

Why would "common decency" allow for an illegal alien gang-banger to stay in the country?

Incidentally, has there been any discussion of where Kilmar Abrego Garcia was working?

Has his employer been in the news talking about what a great employee he was?

People with common decency will understand.

Early days only, but I find this forum fascinating... Is there some MAGA AI drivel generator at work here? Just asking.

Maybe we could call it AMD.

Trump Pardoned Proud Boy Leaders. Now They’re Suing the Government.

The conviction still stands. But as usual trump blathered too much, his own words ' a grave injustice has been done ' used against the US.

Of course, the common decency argument. If only i were not so morally inferior to you, I would understand.

The guy is in the country illegally, is apparently not employed, is involved in gang activity, and beats on women.

Why is it decent to let him stay in the country? Do you not care about the people that suffered and will suffer because he is here?

People with common decency would understand, that if they can show that they were politically persecuted, they should be compensated.

Do you not agree?

So, if he's not convicted, he can just be deported again.

He's an illegal alien.

Exactly AFTER he has his day in court the rest of the noise your side makes is gaslighting this whole brouhaha is about the Trump administration breaking the law.its not about someone’s hero or any such nonsense. Its purely about forcing trump to obey the law no more no less.

He was employed! His night job,
Grok:

A grand jury alleges he played a significant role in a smuggling ring operating for nearly a decade, making over 100 trips transporting migrants, including women and children, across the U.S. He faces two counts: conspiracy to transport aliens and unlawful transportation of undocumented aliens.

Glad you're deciding all those things, because the courts thus far certainly have not.

Somehow, you're missing the part where the U.S. Supreme Court very recently ruled that his earlier deportation by the Trump Admin was illegal/unlawful.

Garcia is not the Democrats' "hero." He's just one of the many examples of the Trump Administration's disregard for the rule of law.

Now that he's back in the USA, hopefully, he will be given due process. If he is found guilty, he could indeed be deported. That's okay with me as long as the process is done according to the rule of law.

I bet you the Maryland Dad is sorry that he attracted all the attention. Should have just stayed where he was. Now he can look forward to a stint in Supermax.

Be careful of what you wish for. Expect to see his smiling face all over election ads.

Thats your hero, Dems.

Watch for the silence from the usual suspects, thumbs down emojis, and my fav, claims that this is all a Trumped up fraud.

I'm guessing you haven't read the constitution or if so maybe it's too complicated for you to understand. Not trying to insult your intelligence but I think you missed the reason. But that's ok.
