President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. reaffirmed his commitment to supporting public school teachers by alleviating their administrative burdens, allowing them to focus more on teaching. During a visit to Tibagan Elementary School in San Miguel, Bulacan, for the launch of Brigada Eskwela 2025, he hailed educators as “true heroes.”

Addressing the teachers, Marcos assured them of the government's support not only financially but also through retraining programmes. "Our teachers are doing well. Maybe they just lack support. We will support you," he emphasised, adding that reducing their non-teaching duties would enable them to dedicate more attention to educating students.

Accompanied by Education Secretary Sonny Angara, Marcos participated in the installation of a new Smart television at the school, symbolising the administration's commitment to enhancing educational resources. Earlier in the day, they toured Barihan Elementary School in Malolos City, examining proposed construction plans aimed at addressing the challenges of its flood-prone location.

They also joined parent volunteers in installing a new blackboard, part of a broader effort to prepare for the forthcoming school year, set to begin on June 16, 2025-2026. These visits underscore the administration's focus on improving educational infrastructure and support for teachers, reflecting a broader push to empower educators and enrich the learning environment for students.
