I was like that in my twenties but gave up. Those guys have done it for 50 years. Must have steel liver.

Visit Mr Diy daily to buy crap

Fun

It's all garbage. I no longer shop there unless it's for things that are unbreakable

Troll the mall for girlies

Eat lunch out daily

Daily exercise

Walk jog new parks and green spaces

Day drinking with the hoors on 4

Get a handy

Reading

Take wife out to eat on the weekend

Bang my wife (me not you)

Take the MRT BTS to an area new to you, new lines open

Watch torrents

Yeah, pints and pints...nah. I do go down once a week to get out and about, witness the train wreck on Sukhumvit. So few places to sit outside and watch the world go by.

It's like cat cafe, but with, erm, goats.

The young goats bounce around while you feed grass to the mother goats.

You've got to be kidd-ing

This month's activities ....

Helped to set up regenerative farming fields and fence off a wild area and add flowering plants to improve biodiversity.

Longboard skate along a beach pathway - hard work into the wind, fun on the downwind leg.

10k run, but stopped halfway at a nice coffee shop to eat cake, so no real health benefit

Visited a goat cafe

Visited a new bar with great sunset views

Walked around a lively night market - bought some clothes for the Missus. (I don't bother buying clothes for myself after I realised I have more than enough to last for the remainder of my life

Figured out how to setup a solar powered 4G security camera for the farm

Cleaned and maintained the motorbike in preparation for a trip next month.

Took some nice portrait photos of my muse/wife

Teaching myself video editing to make a video about the farm project ... need to work on sound mixing as it's much harder than I imagined

Conference next week in Bangkok on regenerative cassava farming

Heading to Bangkok for the Impact Speedfest this weekend.

Going to Bangsaen end of month for the Grand Prix supercar and truck street racing.

Fixed some faulty lights in the house under the close supervision of the Missus

Going to various local shops with photos on my phone of items the Missus needs to cook dinner

And yes, lots of eating delicious food.

How old are you ? 25?

Most here have never been on a skate board, and probably do not know what a longboard are even! 10 km run in Thailand is hardcore for most.

Seems you still have the stamina to enjoy yourself. Keep the good work up 👏

Goat cafe 🤣 I fight with my Alpha ram sheep, good to be on your toes and eyes in my back.

I have huge respect for anyone involved in farming .... it's a tough business.

I'm in my late 60's, and while I think I'm reasonably fit, a day working on a farm leaves me exhausted and dehydrated 😄

Moving to Thailand, and be bored after awhile after the pink tinted glasses fades is the most common thing for most.

Why do you think the forum members drink and smoke to much? Happiness or boredom?

English guys maybe better off, because they do have a pub culture where they come from, playing pool, darts and just chit chat for hours. And to be true, it’s impressive how they manage to find that entertaining week after week, year after year

Either hang out in bars or start a family and raise a child.

Or just embrace life and accept life is mostly boring with a few highlights now and then.

Yes, exactly. Life is not meant to be exhilarating all the time.

And you can't expect Thailand to keep you entertained 24/7.

There is a saying that

"only boring people are bored"

Make you own amusement , what ever turns you on.

Intelligent people get bored, while stupid people can do the same over and over again and again.

Intelligent people get bored easily – Being curious and being smart are not the same thing. If a person has both of these qualities, they may start getting bored easily. Some success comes about as a result of creativity, but others come as a result of becoming an expert in a niche area. If a person is both smart and curious and also loves to learn, they may lose interest in things once they have figured it out

Pubs are full of stupid people. Same with most football fans. Grown men wearing football jumpers and yelling at refs for 50 years.

All you can do is eat food.

Sometimes I look through the online sites about what to do in Bangkok this coming week. It is often nearly all cafes and food. And then there are the regular sections about cafes and food.
