Trump orders ICE to halt raids in agriculture, hospitality sectors amid LA protests: Report
President Trump orders ICE to pause enforcement operations in agriculture, hotels, and restaurants, according to internal guidance cited by the New York Times.

14 JUN 2025

US President Donald Trump has ordered Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials largely pause raids and arrests in the agricultural industry, hotels and restaurants, the New York Times reported.

The report, citing an internal email and three U.S. officials familiar with the directive, stated that Immigration and Customs Enforcement had paused certain enforcement actions.

In guidance to regional department leaders, senior ICE official Tatum King said, “Effective today, please hold on all work site enforcement investigations/operations on agriculture (including aquaculture and meat packing plants), restaurants and operating hotels,” according to the Times.

“We will follow the president’s direction and continue to work to get the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens off of America’s streets,” The Department of Homeland Security confirmed to NYT.

Mods didn't like my unattributed graph so here's more context. This isn't a secret guys, just search for CA demographics.

This is what population replacement looks like. Call it an invasion or whatever you like but the people and culture that was the majority in the 70s has now been replaced.

Look at the disparity between white and hispanics in the second largest school district in the country. Whites are literally educating their replacements.

Gee.. maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think there's anything in the U.S. Constitution that says America has to be a majority white country, or that only white people get to be Americans!

In terms of who has entitlement, there are a lot of American Indians and African-Americans who have ancestral origins that date back farther in the U.S. than a lot of the white people here today.  And most of the Southwestern U.S. was inhabited by people of Mexican and Spanish heritage long before those areas became part of the U.S,

It seems like you have some problem with, or being around, non-white people. ["This is what population replacement looks like. Call it an invasion or whatever you like"]   I think I know what most people would call than kind of attitude. Maybe you should volunteer to go back to the U.S. and, you know, help hold up the WHITE end....

PS - I grew up in Los Angeles and went to school in Los Angeles, with classmates who were Hispanic, black, Asian and from various other nationality origins... And I'm a better person for it in my life.   But then again, I don't have a Confederate flag hanging in my garage....

Do you know the history of the country? It always their intention for the US to be a white country and it besides the freed slaves it was until 1965.

As for Thailand, the Thai people have the same right to maintain a majority in their country just like the Americans. I would 100% oppose mass immigration into Thailand too for this same reason.

You mean it was the original American slave owners' intention to have a white country... except for all those black slaves who didn't actually count as full legal people back then.

"From the nation's founding, African Americans regarded themselves as citizens. When the U.S. Constitution was ratified in 1788, it did not restrict citizenship based on race. However, it only counted enslaved people as 3/5ths of a person, rather than as full citizens, in state populations."

You're proudly showing your true non-colors:

The Anti-Immigrant Movement in the United States

" In his infamous 2015 speech, he [Trump] referred to Mexican immigrants as criminals and rapists.[15] This anti-immigrant rhetoric launched a presidential campaign founded on anti-immigrant and racist ideologies. [emphasis added]

...

Trump became a symbol for the white supremacist movement and the anti-immigrant movement, another sign of their interconnectedness. As his presidency continued to support anti-immigration, the number of hate crimes rose. Immigrants do not only have to worry about organizations that lobby against their rights, but the individuals who are influenced by them. [emphasis added]

For example, a Trump supported was charged with a hate crime after pushing a Mexican man onto train tracks in New York City on April 20, 2018.[17] The FBI reported that hate crimes against Latinos rose more than 21% in 2018.[18] The success of Trump’s presidential campaign, and his subsequent presidential term, gave a voice to the movement and its supporters the strength to voice their opinions, verbally and physically, without remorse."

Glad you're confirming they are illegal.

I never said all illegal immigrates are out committing crimes.  I know some illegal immigrants, they seem nice and appear to work hard, but they still came to the USA illegally.

Do I feel for them, sure just like I feel for some guys that get caught living in Thailand for years with no visa.

Just because the US government turned a blind eye for years doesn't mean that it's legal or correct.

Other countries enforce their immigration rules and nobody complains.

I saw an amazing chart the other day regarding Texas, that said it has one of the highest rates of school-age children with at least one parent who's undocumented, even though the Republican dominated state government there is extremely anti-immigrant.

Let me see if I can find the source where that came from...  See the chart below, and Texas' darkest blue coloring:

Screenshot_4.jpg.f99d453d9c26dbf9af4d413aa463d4e8.jpg

And that's more than California, according to the coloring of the chart, where the accompanying article said:

"One in eight students in states like California have at least one undocumented parent."

https://yourlocalepidemiologist.substack.com/p/a-snapshot-into-how-deportations

Along with the following August 19th, 2021 report:

"Additional analysis shows that most states have at least 1,000 undocumented students in their K-12 schools. This number is significantly higher in several states, with some of the highest undocumented student populations living in Texas (111,000), Florida (74,000), and California (72,000)." [emphasis added]

https://www.fwd.us/news/k-12-undocumented-students/

Quick!  Trump needs to send ICE and the Marines to Texas to go after all those undocumented K-12 school children who, naturally in Trump's view, must be criminals and gang members and all sorts of other bad things.... because they're undocumented, of course.

I was too late to edit the following additional pgh into the above post:

From the same source with the numbers to back up the color-coded chart above:

"Beyond undocumented students, schools also interact daily with more than 3.9 million K-12 U.S. citizen students with undocumented parents. In all, about 8%, or some 4.5 million, of all K-12 students—undocumented and U.S. citizen—have an undocumented parent, with even higher shares in Texas (15%), Nevada (15%), California (12%), and New Jersey (11%)."

He's totally lost the plot here. Also 500,000 Chinese students?? Those two things really pissed people off. At the heart he's just a 90s democrat and doesn't seem to understand the current state of play.

That would have been out of the scope of the document and not its intent to include race. The immigration act was a better place for that.

Their views on race were typical of the time and well documented. Thomas Jefferson said "blacks are inferior to the whites in the endow- ments both of body and mind". This is the same guy who wrote "all men are created equal"!

None of this matters now though. I'm just making the perfectly rational and reasonable point that if you replace your population with Mexicans you will get Mexico.

Republicans are in catastrophic denial about this. With 100% certainty in the very near future Texas will be a permanent blue state like California and they will never be able to win another federal election again.

Hispanics are well understood with lots of polling on them (plus just look at their home countries). They may be Catholic and reject the middle class vanity politics of the white liberals but they're socialists and want higher taxes and more government for their own benefit. Unlike the white liberals, getting free money is far more important to them than trans or whatever thing of the money they come up with.

If Democrats can put the woke away and focus on socialism more they'll activate the Hispanics (and the other non-whites) and Texas will be long gone. Florida probably too for that matter.

Agreed.

Although I know nothing of the situation in California, its not too difficult to work out what's going on.  Trump is the world's No.1 populist, that's how he got where he is.  His economic measures have done far more harm than good and will probably create more trouble medium to long term.  From what I hear on the news, from the mouths of US citizens, prices in the shops have actually gone up, not come down. His ridiculous 'Tariff War' is already creating inflation and when the full effects filter through, there is a very good likelihood of it rising further.

The man has no idea what he is doing. Far from making 'America Great Again', he's made a laughing stock of the country.

So, what do you do when your policies are a mess, when you are told that your supporters are starting to question your methods? What do you do when the polls suggest you have the lowest approval rating a 90+ day president has ever had?  You re-enforce your populist policies, pick on immigrants, tell the people that thousands of foreign criminals and mental patients are pouring over the borders (and eating their cats and dogs 😁).  Blame already settled illegals for much of the crime.................bla bla bla.  Its called 'deflection' - a policy used the world over by politicians who in reality, would do or say anything to gain/stay in power.

In an recent TV interview I saw, a US farmer was quite clear that if he was not able to use immigrant labour to harvest his crops, he would have to pay a lot more to attract US workers or they would rot in the field. Either way, prices would have to rise.  Great job Donald!

So they found a great way to exploit cheap labor and not have to pay Americans a higher wage. Consumers have cheaper food and they don't care about it got that way.

Even if it's really true that no Americans will do that work for any reasonable about of money then let them be TEMPORARY workers. Your children never get citizenship and you need to go back home after some term like 5 years. Do this when you're young, save up some money and then go back home when it's time to have a family.

There's enough poor young people in South American to create a never ending supply of fresh backs they agricultural industry can break.

As I understand it, there is not a legal industry in the US in which the number of illegal workers outnumber citizens.

Illegal immigration benefits the rich and hurts the poor. That's why the left loves it.

Notice that there are no riots in rich neighborhoods
